I'm sorry you struggled to find what you wanted. There is a local shop (premiere) and pub in the village and is within walking distance , also nearest restaurants are less than 5 - 10 min drive. Tesco, Aldi lidl plus all the takeaway shops you could think of are a 15 min drive away at the main town Porthmadog .

The double bed was so comfy and the pod was clean and cosy..Amazing scenery from the site and all facilities are always clean and tidy. Vicky and her fella were amazing and friendly hosts as always, will definitely be stopping there again, can’t wait to return!!

I wouldn't call our area " middle of nowhere" nowhere is a very powerful statement to put on a village.
We are a proud community and a very happy one, we have a lovely country pub, a local shop and lovely scenic walks that you wouldn't get in the city. Trawsfynydd is a lovely area, but I guess if you want the city life like fast-food delivery and a very fast paced lifestyle your'e not going to get it here. I wouldn't change our area for anything but I would like our guests to appreciate our laid back way of living. I hope you come back soon.
