Stayed on site in the shepherds hut for just under a week and it exceeded all our expectations. The hut was clean and tidy and the bed sheets were clean and comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The price of the Wood for the fire pit was more than reasonable and cheaper than what most supermarkets were similarly selling. The owners were more than helpful, delivering the wood for you and offering advice about what walks were in the area and other activities that were available nearby with maps available onsite for a small donation which was a nice touch. Very quiet site and perfect for those that want a quiet break. We Will be looking at returning in future.

The facilities were some of the best I’ve seen at a camp site. The campers kitchen had everything you might need. All perfectly clean. The size of each pitch was huge with hard standings for the car, a fire pit and benches and a picnic bench. Check inn was good.

Loved the peaceful nature of the evenings. Aside from a little bit of road noise, it was silent-just how we like it but rarely how you get it on camp sites. This is a hidden gem. Loved the fire pits, charging points in the loos and the well stocked kitchenette. We will definitely be back here in the future.

The views from this campsite were absolutely stunning. The pitches were generously sized with a fire and benches, brilliant for the evening time. The facilities were also great, the showers were fab and the kitchen was really useful. The owners were really friendly, and brought round wood to purchase in the evening. The site was small and quiet, perfect for a tranquil break in the countryside.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

Nice and cosy hut with a very comfy bed, everything we needed was there and it had been well thought out - we had a lovely stay, thank you!
