Lovely family who own the site. They come round daily cleaning site, emptying bins etc. The site is really peaceful & clean with beautiful views.
The site sells wood/kindling too which was great as we didn’t bring enough!

Not a dislike of the site itself, but the only draw back for us personally was that we had to drive out to visit areas as there are no footpaths and tiny roads. But that is only because we have young children.
There is also no plugs in the toilet area (that I saw) so if you are camping with no hook up, there is no option for straightening hair/charging anything, however they do have a hairdryer in the ladies toilet. This wasn’t an issue for us but just thought was worth mentioning.

Pick your own pitch. Not over crowded. Very clean toilet and showers. Lovely owners who also try their best to keep the camp quiet after 9:30pm

Well maintained camp site with great basic facilities. Staff did come round every day to ensure everyone was ok which we thought was a lovely touch. Lovely scenery with lots of happy well looked after animals. Would definitely stay again.

The water pressure in the showers was very slow. Not the sites fault just ignorant campers however kids were running wild and extremely loud at 7:45 in the morning other than this it was very peaceful,

Great pitch size, fantastic location, small but clean toilet/ shower facilities but didn’t have to queue. We had electric hard standing pitch was big enough for caravan car and awning side by side. Loved being able to have a fire and site perfectly located for numerous walks in the area

Me and my son stayed in the oak pod, really clean, beautiful views. So peaceful and quiet. I received and email a few days before with all the information I needed, inside the pod is a booklet with how to use everything. It’s the second we have visited and we will definitely be back.

Realy nice pod with everything we needed . Nicely situated looking over the camping field. Walk across fields into the lovely village.

The campsite in front of us was very busy so it did affect the peace n quiet. But it didn't bother us . But it would other people.

Everything about this site is amazing. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are clean and warm, the pitches are a really good size and the surroundings are gorgeous. Highly recommended for a quiet get away.

Friendly staff, plenty of space to pitch when we visited (non electric). Good price, facilities adequate. Relatively quiet site.

Site was not that busy despite it being a summer weekend - as a results the facilities were fine (2 toilets for women). However there was a lots more space to pitch so had it been busier there could be a lot of pressure on the limited facilities.

Have stayed around the area before - is quiet and good for adults who like walks and pubs with good food. Personally I think attractions are more limited for older children (10 ish) and wouldn’t necessarily recommend the area for this age group (over other options)

Location was fab and I liked that on arrival you could just choose any hard standing pitch available which were generous in size. Plenty of water points. Two loos, hand basins and two showers separate from the family/disabled one. Outside covered wash up area. Nice walk to village along road or over the fields, quaint PO/cafe/shop, and easy circular walk nearby. Pub was lovely, restaurant part bit pricey but very nice food. They also have a lunch time bar menu and have a lovely garden with lots of seating. Easy access to Ingleton Waterfall Trail, Settle and Ribblehead Viaduct, Skipton for great market, canal boat trips or steam train ride from Embsay. Weather was so good so didn't do usual amount of walking but Gisburn Forest good for a shady walk.

My only gripe was that the lovely facilities were not very clean but showers were nice and hot. I'm used to campers mopping up after themselves when showering, however no sign up to do this so perhaps other campers did not know. The mop and bucket was empty most of the week but I did sweep and mop the floor areas a couple of times myself.
