Beautiful clean well kept campsite. Lots of helpful facilities like freezers for ice blocks etc. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Some noise from the A55 but not enough to disturb you.

Facilities are really decent in terms of kitchen/showers/toilets/communal fire, family who run the site are also quite friendly. Site itself is fairly pretty but not as special as others I've been to in terms of views etc.

It's a good campsite but I have been to better ones that were cheaper. Just in terms of space around pitch (was a busy bank hol tbf). It's very family orientated so probably not what we exactly prefer with a lot of screaming kids etc close by.

Excellent facilities, clean and quaint site with great pitches and a lovely atmosphere. Location was great for access to Eryri and Bangor

Such a lovely, peaceful place to stay for a few nights camping under the stars! We loved the large pitch area, hiring a firepit for marshmallow toasting, the luxurious loos and washing area, making a hot cup of tea late at night with the kettle in the indoor shed, playing a board game from the shared books and games, and magical little touches like pathways edged in solar powered fairy toadstools. My children also loved climbing on the small wooden play area.

A big thank you to the friendly owners, and their gorgeous playful dog who won my daughters' hearts!

Loved everything about the place, the kids we're asking if we could come back again before we'd even pitched the tent! Owners are lovely people and they've thought of everything to make it perfect. Will definitely book again!

We loved Cae Lal from the moment we arrived, we had been warned by email that construction was underway, so didn't know what to expect, what we found was a great looking campsite with big plans, and no issues.

The weather was pretty terrible, with gale force winds, rain and some snow, "The Shed" really helped in this regard, it's a large shed with sofas, table and benches, kettle, microwave, firdge and freezer, hot water, crockery, some kids games and books, and even a bluetooth speakers set-up.
When we weren't sleeping or out, we would hole up in the shed.
The showers were really good, as were the compsoting toilets (no smell), also a row of regular toilets, some sinks and washng up facilities.
Really pleasant owners, our daughters struck up a friendship, will defintely return.

Great communication from the owners. Easy to find. Facilities we're immaculate. Wheel barrows provided to help move your gear to the meadow. The hut with kitchen and toys and games for the kids was such a great addition. Campfire that was lit with picnic benches was great. I honestly cannot fault this place. I take my kids camping alot and this is the best site I've stayed on so far and will now be my regular destination. Absolutely loved it.
