Clean, safe and great fun for the children with the play area and the freedom to run around the site. Fresh eggs and bacon available to buy from the farm too!

Loved how close everything was and the ease of booking and contact with the site.
Park was brilliant for our little girl and the views where amazing

Water a little to far away but nothing major

The facilities. There were only two showers and two toilets for each gender and the ladies toilets were inside the showers cubicles. You also had to pay if you wanted hot water which is unacceptable when you have already paid £35 for the night.

Everything was perfect . They provided everything that we needed . Hot tub was lovely and the site was nice and quite too

Lovely campsite that we would definitely return to!

Very small at only 25 pitches, laid out around a central square of grass and play equipment, meaning the kids could go off and play and we could still see them.

Team were very responsive& helpful, and quickly sorted a couple of queries that we had.

Surrounding views are absolutely amazing, with the potential for gorgeous sunsets.

Facilities are great, nothing extra special but totally useable and were kept very clean and tidy. Showers were £1 per 5 minutes due to the increased cost of living which we thought was fair. Toilet disposal is a simple drain and hose, but works for what you need it for.

Pitches all looked to be nice and level so no issues there.

There are some glamping pods around the edge as well so if you had a group where some members didn't have a caravan or camper they could use one of them.

We would happily come again!

No dislikes from us, just a couple of observations others may find useful:

- We came from the direction of Leeds and the last few miles were particularly hilly, wiggly, and narrow, so if you're not too confident towing perhaps manually adjust your sat nav to follow the larger road at the end.

- No laundry facilities, this is clear on the website and Pitch Up but may put some people off.

Absolutely fantastic facilities provided by the friendliest hosts. We loved every minute of our stay at Brocklehead Farm and will definitely be returning

Nothing

A lovely, well kept, clean, well designed site. On the Roman Road
on top of the hill overlooking Darwen, the Jubilee Tower and other towns. With pitches and pods around the edge of the site. A children’s activity play area ( which would put a few Council’s ones to shame ) is situated within view of all pitches, But far enough away. Excellent for the kids whil’st you prepare a meal. The wash facilities were spotless and working. The painted waterfall on the washroom block looked 3D at night.

Wi-Fi, worked fine on a number of devices. Most visitors will have internet access on their phone. Being on the top of the hill, TV and radio reception will be good. Winter Hill, the main station ( red mast lights ) can be seen in the distance. The Darwin one ( white stick on top )is a few hundred metres up the road. You will Not need any signal boosters ( amplifiers. )

It is an easily accessed location. With at least two wide roads from centre of Darwin up to the site. With easy access to the motorway network. For all directions. Less than 30mins from the M6/M61 off M65 Junction 4 A666 to Darwin.

Would I stay again yes….

The kids play area was really convenient- can watch them playing from the front of the pod. The toilets/showers were clean and private and the site well maintained.

It’s a pound for a 5 minute shower

Very clean park. Friendy owners and clean toilet shower block (showers are 1 pound for 5 mins 20ps or pound coin accepted) lovely parl for children right in the centre facing all pitches and cabins. Lovely views. Just a shame the weather wasnt on our side lol
