Small site.

Beautiful friendly site was greated on arrival at the pitch and made to feel very welcome, as a lady tourer traveling alone with just older children this was lovely and made me feel at ease on the site from the first instance.
Great clean showers /toilets just remember to bring £1 coins for the showers.
Horses playing in the next field were just lovely to hear.
WiFi worked well.
Icecream van after tea was a lovely surprise.
Sunset was worth the trip alone.

Pitches where great !!....but would benefit from a water tap on the grass end of the field but that's just my personal opinion it's not the end of the world.
Local shops not within walking distance so bring what's needed.

Loved everything about this. We stayed in the Mega bunker pod with hot tub, went with friends for a birthday. We were able to have the pods next to each other, and the kids were happy on the park and loved the hot tub!
This was our 1st time, recommended by the friends that we went with as they had visited before and loved it..can see why. The views, especially in the morning and beautiful. Only a short car drive away to the local mall too.
The place supplied the fire pit wood for a small cost, which was fantastic. The owners were lovely and friendly, and only a text/call away when the hot tub water went cold.
The pods themselves were immaculate. We stayed in Shorthorn 4, and was amazed at how much kitchen utensils there were and the crockery too. Everything was clean and well looked after. Even came with complimentary teas,coffees, dishwasher tablets etc. The small touches like that made it.
Will definitely be back for another long weekend.

Lovely little site with great views. Kids liked the play area.

Check in time of 3pm seems late and check out time of 10:30am seems early. You can pay an extra £5 for early check-in and another £5 for late check out but it only buys you an hour.
Shame you couldn't see the cows in the fields next door due to high hedges.

The pitches are a great size however, the winning thing about this site for me was the park right in the middle of the site. The kids could go off and play and you can have your eyes on them all the time. The views are lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some great sunsets. The site is a short distance from the local town too and there is a retail park and ice rink very close by.

The toilets weren’t the best in all honesty. They were very clean and nothing was broken but there were no lights in the shower cubicle and not enough for the amount of people on site. The site prices are top end really but you don’t get a lot for your money especially having to pay to have a shower is a little unfair at £35 per night.
