Great place for camping with kids, fishing, fire 🔥 place.

Everything, beautiful setting, lakes are amazing wild camping is not for everyone but we love it. Freddie and Alan super helpful and friendly

This is wild camping, they have toilets but that’s it, you need to be self sufficient.

Very peaceful and beautiful location. Distance between pitches was great you feel very secluded. The host Alan was friendly but left us to it as well. Had a great time.

A tap or bowser for water would be great, even if you had to boil before use. Also a bin on site would make things easier. This isn't a negative really because the site is honest about this before you go, it's just feedback. The feeling of being away from things is definitely worth it.

Met with a friendly gentleman, showed us to our pitch. Really nice fella! The area was amazing. Enjoyed our time here thanks

Owner was lovely, showed me to the spot upon arrival. Beautiful views of the lake and sunset. Able to pick my own spot.

Not a dislike as such but just be aware of the facilities. The few portaloos were quite a walk from me. Wasn’t a problem for me though.

Freddie the owner was brilliant and friendly came and found us on site to make sure we had everything we needed and was happy where in the spot we picked, such a beautiful place, have almost complete privacy and just do your own thing, will 100% be going back!

Nothing to dislike it is what it says in the description.

Only thing I would say is it could do with a big bin on site

It was nice to be able to camp by the lake and in the forest. Toilets were relatively clean and had toilet paper. A safe and clean place for families. I plan to go again.

The number of toilets should be increased.

This place is just so wonderful - we came as a big family with 4 adults, 2 small children, a baby and a dog and it was perfect. The amount of space between tents is just incredible, I was more than confident just to let the dog off leash knowing that there’s no one near us. The guy who came to meet us is a top lad, very friendly. We’ll deffo come again, came last year too and it was great.

Maybe the very limited amount of toilets? But at the end of the day it’s £30 a night for 4 people camping so you kinda know what to expect and I suppose having a bog is a bit of luxury

Great place to visit. Loved the isolation and the pitch we were placed in. Lovely local pub to walk to.
Great for dogs. Take your own wood if your pitch has a fire pit. Gates close overnight.

People who don’t clear up after themselves or respect others.
