The site is so family friendly. There is a playground and loads of space for kids to run around. Gorgeous little woodlands walk accessible from the campsite and the people who run it are amazing. Very warm and welcoming and very clean showers/toilets.
Tents are well spaced and even with rain the pitches were well drained.

Can’t fault any of our stay. My teenager would complain about having no signal, but I loved that we were offline!

Almost zero wifi signal. You could buy it at Reception but we didn't do so so I don't know what the quality was like.
When we arrived there were many tents there. We had to choose a field close to the playground and it was quite noisy with all the kids coming to play and play ball. The second field was much quieter so it's worth considering where to set up the tent.

Very nice family atmosphere on site. Lots of other nice families with small children for our kids to make friends with. Play park and football area great for kids. Good location for many local attractions. Very friendly and welcoming owner who was always helpful. Fully serviced hard standing pitches including drainage. Very nice panoramic views of Snowdonia from hard standing terraces. Freezer for freeze packs for campers with optional charity box donation, and vending machine reasonably priced. Hard standing pitche fairly level. Shower temprature and pressure fine. Walks from site but we didn't have time to try in our short stay. Went quiet at 10pm and every one respected common camping etiquette. Very good recycling facility except couldn't find paper recycling.

These are small niggles as our overall experience was excellent and the kids loved it. Pitch sizes could be a bit more generous in depth as was on the challenging side to turn our 6.95m MH into and felt a little on the crowded side. Shower block a little dated but perfectly functional. Some irregular steps going between hard standing terraces with sharp stones capping end of walls by steps. Put £9 in tumble dryer, still not dry and wasn't even a full load. Automatic / PIR lights go off when light in facilities block so can be a little dark on overcast days. As I say these are nit picking as this is a great site, but hence 4 stars overall.
