The very friendly staff, clean facilities and pretty surroundings

Well kept site with marvellous facilities.
Especially the toilets and shower block. Showers were high quality, new equipment and spotless.
Despite the weather our stay was excellent and all the better for the helpful and friendly welcome from Dave and Gill.

Beautiful scenery at a central location to local places of interest. The toilet block was spotlessly clean and modern. The showers were amazing. Gill and Dave were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to help. My hook-up cable was short, so Dave lent me a cable for our stay. We arrived after a very wet spell and were offered an alternative weekend if preferred, which I thought was very honest and brilliant customer service. As it was we decided to chance it and made the right decision as the pitch had completely dried out by the Sunday. That being the case all the other campers decided to rebook and we pretty much had the tents pitches to ourselves.
From Sunday onward the weather was perfect a bit chilly at night but we soon got use to ut. The play area and football goals kept the kids amused. The Wi-Fi was excellent for us compared to other sites we’ve stayed at, the fire stick never dropped out once.
We were lucky enough to see two new born lambs which were only a couple of hours old. We visited the beautiful town of Shrewsbury on Sunday and Parkhall on Monday which we all enjoyed and is reasonably priced. We will definitely be booking another stay at Bank Farm , thanks you Gill and Dave for a lovely stay.

Not so much a dislike, but camp fires are not permitted, we do enjoy the warmth at night of an open fire toasting marshmallows, but we knew this when we booked. The only downside was having to leave, would have stayed a few more days if we could.

Very helpful- well kept site. Facilities very clean.

Fabulous site - we stayed for one night on our way to Barmouth. Met Dave outside on our arrival - couldn’t have been more helpful. Helped us to our pitch, provided a longer hose, friendly and perfect host. Unfortunately, we had a night of heavy rain which meant we were unable to move the next day - no problem at all, Dave worked hard to get us out and all was good. Fab views - defo recommend.

All local pubs are closed so there is nothing close by to walk to to eat -not the campsite’s fault though - shame !
