Everything. The site is brilliant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great.

Location is fantastic, beautiful walk to Burley. Supermarkets also within 15 minutes.
Showers are hot and regularly cleaned.
Grounds are beautiful with horses stabled within the grounds.
Superb for children with plenty to do which is all reasonably priced.
Staff are polite and helpful.
Amble amounts of bins water points and electric.
WiFi is very good and easy to connect.

The shop and cafe are a little pricey.

Beautiful and peaceful camping site, with lots of great activities. Excellent for riding a bicycle and walking.
Lots of spaces for kids to explore.
We were a group of 5 families with 9 boys in total, between the age of 10-13 .
The boys had an absolute blast.

Toilets should be clean more often, especially the one by the lake, as well as rubbish collection by the wash up area.

loved the site, Walks, cycle route, gate onto the new forest. Shower and toilets where spotlessly clean. loved that the camping was not over crowded, huge spaces in the middle for kids to play. Great activities. Restaurant very good quality and very cheap. Basic shop but it did have the odd bits that you need or had forgotten. All staff second to non. The staff doing activities are so patient and supportive.

There are not enough photos on the website of activities. I was not sure what some of the activities where until I got there and watched what was going on, by that time having decided to do them they where fully booked up. please please put more photos or better descriptions on the website so its easy to choose and book in advance. Thanks

The whole of the campsite and centre is so beautiful and huge. We were in the forest site and even though it was the August bank holiday weekend, it didn't feel too busy a s a few spaces were available all weekend. We all loved the cycle paths especially the hair raising red route! So much space and freedom for the kids (ages 9 and 12). The playgrounds were great too, and being wooden looked so fitting in the wooded area.
It's located close to Burley and we cycled to the the village easily with the family. The beach of Avon was only 18 minutes drive away and we enjoyed fish and chips and the beach bar!
The activities are all really reasonably priced and our children especially loved the Treeptop Trail. So much cheaper and Go Ape bit so much better!

The staff sadly seemed to be quite disinterested. The cafe staff in particular were very unwelcoming and unaccommodating especially the lady in charge. Such a shame as having an onsite cafe was handy.
There are limited toilets blocks so we had a bit of a walk. That said they weren't too busy but with young children this would be trickier when they can't always wait!
We arrived late at night and the evening staff went is to the wrong pitch. It took 45 minutes to resolve and get us to the right place, which with 2 kids at night in the dark was quite frustrating and hard work and added an unnecessarily delay which meant we didn't finish setting up until nearly midnight. We raised this with the reception in the morning but they just seemed quite disinterested and although they apolgised, indicated that it happens a lot and the night staff don't listen. If we'd pitched in the wrong location and asked to move, I would have been furious. Thankfully someone was in the pitch they sent us to so we didn't make that mistake.
The whole site is just amazing and we would return at a drop of a hat but friendly and more engaging staff would really elevate this site.

The safety on site with very little car traffic to worry about. Allows children to play freely without worrying about cars all the time.

Range of activities on offer and their value for money considering how long you get on the activity.

Pitches are a good size

Pitches for camping do have some litter remaining including often sharp pieces.

Toilet facilities at top end of site (house) are quite small.

Noise from neighbouring camp (late night music) was frustrating as Avon Tyrrell is very quiet in general.

When busy does feel bit penned in on pitches, would be good to be able to select a pitch if booking well in advance

Great campsite with lots to do especially the activities and firepit.

Showers and toilets weren't particularly clean and found shop prices quite expensive. Also be aware airport is close with planes flying late at night.
