Keep returning to this exceptional site for touring caravans and campers… love the space of each pitch, large wood behind, all vans on level ground either side of superb facilities cabin, all facing out towards a field with pond and wildlife (deer, herons etc) and a beautiful bluebell wood leading to a fantastic dog friendly tree lined walk along the estuary full of lapwings, egrets, godwits and many other coastal birds (bring your camera and binoculars 😉)… also love the quietness, peace and tranquility of the site and being away from any road noise… also in the grounds of stunning Ashton Hall and you benefit from their garden centre which has a delightful cafe, ideal for a mid morning coffee & cake, delicious lunch or indulgent afternoon cream tea 😋☕️🍰😋 … this is a ‘must return’ perfect location for us… one more benefit to add, pitches are so deep, you park in front of your caravan length ways and still lots of space! Lovely peaceful adult only site. Very private plots with a slight curve with only neighbours either side not in front so could enjoy the view.
Lovely dog friendly pub, Stork Inn nearby with great food and drink. Booked an extra night at last minute because it was that nice. We will be back as soon as we can.

Lovely and peaceful, great weather,

Pitches where supposed to be hard standing and grass. You could not define on most of them where the hard standing is because it was that overgrown with grass. If you haven't got citronella candles or burning something you would get bit. As I did , I ended up with lumps the size of a golf ball after being bitten by something. Which has spoilt the whole stay. I am now on antibiotics for my bite which was infected. Simple remedy, cut the grass, spray the area to keep insects at bay. Don't know what bit me but it's a mess.

Very helpful owner. Excellent pitch size. The local pub The Stork is about a 15 min walk away and the food there is very good - but book on a Fri night to avoid disappointment. 5 min walk to a path that runs alongside the river turn right to Lancaster 4 mile walk or left Glasson 1 mile walk both well worth doing. We spent a day in Morecombe, only 7 mile away - my wife and I hadn't been there since we were children but it was very good.
Overall, a brilliant secure site, clean toilets, adults only and with things close at hand - a cafe (inside the garden centre), a pub and some nice walks. What more could you want? We will definitely be back!

Good shower block and great Elsan point with hot water!! Great location for drive to Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounding areas and for local woodland walking. Safety barrier worked well. Level pitches and lovely view. Quiet site.

Rubble on hard standing. Very uncomfortable underfoot and difficult to get pegs in for awning. Approach lanes full of potholes and no signs from the Garden centre to point you towards the campsite past the holiday cottages. The local binmen directed us. Hi five to them!!

The location, very quiet and relaxing. It was so quiet we even saw some deer grazing and the ducks were happily wandering around. The bathrooms were clean, tidy, warm, spacious - just brilliant. Random on-site visit from an ice cream van. Dogs welcome. Nice walk from on site along the estuary.

Lovely peaceful site. Dog friendly garden centre with cafe next door.
We walked to the pub at Glasson Docks (30 mins) and watched red deer grazing in front of the van.
No wifi but that suited us!

The pitches are lined up alongside each other with no one in front and no one behind you. Away from the main road so very quiet! Clean showers and toilets, lovely walks and a local garden centre with cafe. Dog friendly pub close by
