Lovely location. Good size pitch. Helpful staff in Reception. Nice toilet/shower facilities that were kept spotless and in full working order. We were on pitch 1 which was a lovely quiet spot. Easy access to the Tissington Trail right next to the site and good access to nearby Ashbourne and Dovedale. Burger van on site if you can't be bothered to cook, doing food throughout the day. Pitch was fairly flat. Whole site was kept clean and tidy. Not a lot of light pollution so was great for looking at the stars on a clear night,

The site has a indoor swimming pool, however, it is only open from 10am - 3pm each day and you have to pre-book a slot. Unfortunately this meant that we didn't get to use it, as we were out walking at those times. Would have been nice if it was open in the evenings, so it would be able to use it after being out all day. Also, the site appears to be on the flight path for a nearby airport, so you did get a lot of noise from aeroplanes. This is the first time where we'd been to a campsite that didn't provide wifi for the whole site, which was a bit disappointing.

The relaxed atmosphere on site, and the family vibe. Also the helpfulness of all the staff. I like the fact that the site is relatively small and children feel safe.

Out of the 4 days we were there, the pool was unfortunately closed for 2 of them. Also, in the portakabin-like toilet/shower block, early morning and afternoons, there was no toilet paper. Plus the shower had little pressure.

Although not attached to the pod, was nice having our own toilet and shower, which was nice and clean.
Lovely site, everyone one was respectful of space and noise.

Was a very hot week, pod got very hot day and night, and outside there was no where to get out of the sun. Door on pod was hard to open and close ,so was a bit noisy at night. The pool was closed which was disappointing for the kids.

Fabulous clean well kept Park, friendly staff, easy booking in process, the place is in a Amazing place, one thing needs highlighting the ensuite pod's are not ensuite, you have your own shower and toilet but you have to come out of the pod and walk round the back to a separate unit, didn't bother me but maybe others.

Sharp steep bend turning into site from main road

Really lovely site! The staff were great, and everything was clean and fresh. The pods were perfect for what we needed. Our own toilet and shower were an added bonus and great for the little ones.
The kids loved the onsite park, and we did a fab walk with them via the Tissington Trail. The pool was easy to book.

It would have been lovely to be able to grab a cup of tea whilst watching the kids play in the park, and the shop was expensive, but that is to be expected. Overall, no complaints, it was a fantastic stay.

We asked numerous times to be placed next to our friends so that the kids could play. We were told a note had been added to our booking. We ended up in completely different fields. They had plenty of room around them but when we asked if we could switch we were told that they don't have the power to do this, only head office do.

Staff could do with being empowered to be a little flexible.

We were on a pitched tent plot which, at £68 a night, seemed very expensive for effectively a patch of grass. It wasn't much more expensive to rent a pod with ensuite.

Beautiful Bell tent, clean tidy & the surrounding area is just perfect for a relaxing break. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, super easy to book & a great added bonus.

The only thing I have to say is the quality of the mattresses in the bell tents, there more like a camping mat rather than a “mattress”. Quick trip to the range & £15 later on an air bed & we were more than happy.
