Campsite was well looked after, staff were lovely and helpful.

Showers/Toilets were functional but a little grubby.

Great site, safe park to let the kids have some independence on their own, clean site with great surroundings

The weather was fantastic.

The swimming pool was freezing, it’s indoor , the life guard sat on his phone not paying attention to the young children in the pool, the shower block wasn’t the cleanest, the playground where we were pitched right next to had a sign saying open till dusk, but parents left their children to play till 10 at night, very noisy,
The on site shop closed early, without notice..

Clean adequate facilities. The Tissington Trail is right next to the site. Staff in the shop were polite. The other campers were respectful and mindful in the evening and kept the noise down.

Packed the tents in, no privacy as you had tents either side that were extremely close.No privacy

Really lovely, clean and well cared for site. Pitches are level and plenty large enough so you dont feel cramped at all. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Small shop on site has all basic needs for a short stay. Will definitely be looking to go there. again.

Only downside is that when approaching after being out for the night and returning in the dark is that entrance could possibly better signposted or maybe even lit up, if possible, in some way. Lack of WiFi away from shop area.

The facilities were really nice, the play park, the pool. You need to book the pool, we went in a less busy period so it wasn't booked up, but book your slot when you arrive.
Toilet block was clean, with plenty of toilets.
Very friendly staff at reception.
Close to several pubs with food.

Only card payments on site.

Lot of options for camping, glamping, caravans, motorhome, serviced pitches, en-suite pitches. Great shop. Swimming pool. Great childrens play area. Next to Tissington Trail. Nearby pubs. Plenty of walks and bike trails. Great sky at night (on a cloudless night!), not much light pollution.
The site was very clean and well maintained. Staff were great.

Long walk to the toilet/shower block for most caravans and motorhome users, much more convienent for tents. Would benefit with an extra toilet/shower block nearer the main office/swimming pool area.
Toilet/shower facilities were not great, very dated, we would suggest that they were not cleaned as often as the notices led you to believe. Womens showers ran hot and cold and everywhere inbetween, with no regulation of the temperature on the tap. Mens showers were more regular and quite warm.
Only found one toilet disposal point next to the toilet block, which was a long walk from most caravan and motorhome pitches with a full loo cassette.
We saw a couple of people use their bikes to go to the toilet! It was that far away from their pitch!

Brilliant price. Definitely will be returning with my daughter as she would love the pool and play area. We had car issue on the day we left we were waiting for recovery when I nice worker call kurt came and sorted it for us and literally saved my sister birthday being ruined so thankyou

Great site. We stayed for the bank holiday weekend with another family.
Plenty of toilets which were always clean and never had to queue for. Playground was great for the kids. Swimming pool was free to use subject to booking but was pretty cold. Site was really quiet from 10pm on each of the 3 nights. The Old Dog pub is a lovely 20 min walk away and dog friendly.

Clean, well maintained site, En-suite pitches a hit! Beautifully laid out, gorgeous views, helpful, friendly staff.
Park area, indoor pool (must be booked and does get busy).
Amazing location, right beside the Tissington Trail! And close to pubs which serve food.
Will definitely book again!

Sadly, only1 set of toilets which can be a walk depending on where your pitch is, not great in the middle of the night.
