We booked a one-night stay at this campsite, choosing the non-electric tent pitch. Our main reason for selecting this place—despite significantly higher prices compared to other campsites in the same area—was the swimming pool, which looked great in the photos and seemed like a perfect way to relax during our short trip with kids.
However, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in around 1 PM and immediately asked to book a slot for the pool. We were told that both days were fully booked and there was no possibility to access the pool at all during our stay. I explained that the only reason we chose this expensive site (others in the area cost one-third the price) was the pool, and that without access to it, the price simply made no sense. Still, we were told no slots were available. Eventually, we were allowed to use the pool for one hour after our check-out time, which is hardly what we paid for. By then, we were already packed and ready to leave
We tried to cancel the booking once we found out about the pool situation, but they refused. No flexibility, no understanding, no willingness to acknowledge that what they advertised was not available during our stay.
In addition to that, the non-electric pitch we stayed at was located very far from the restrooms. Walking there—especially at night—was inconvenient and unpleasant. To make things worse, the toilets were disgusting in the morning. They were clearly not cleaned or maintained regularly, which is unacceptable for a site charging premium prices.
Overall, this was the worst camping experience we’ve ever had.
We will not be returning and cannot recommend this site to anyone.
