Toilets & showers clean with hot water, not keen on shower curtains. Site well maintained, no shop, which would of been handy. Only 4 electric hook ups for tents, more set up for caravaners!
All in all, clean, hot showers, quiet. If we were in the area, probably would like signal for planning our days out. I did not see much for children ie small park, but there was an area to play ball games.

Easy walk into the village with a superb gastro pub and tea rooms offering a variety of meals to eat in or takeaway.

The river going through the park is an added bonus for dog owners, especially during extremely hot weather! We are glad that your dog enjoyed it just as much other guests and owners on park. The local village of Eardisland is also a gem. The local pubs and tea room are all wonderful and we are happy that we could share them with you.
We are sorry to hear that there was a lack of TV signal during your stay. Due to being in a rural area, TV signal may not be the best. This is why all of our Hard Standing Fully Serviced Pitches have a TV areal for boosted signal. However, we are happy to hear that this did not your stay with us as, like you said, it is "perfect for a peaceful 'getaway from it all' holiday".
