  • Liked: Brand new toilet and shower facilities
    Brand new laundry facilities
    Very helpful staff
    Very welcoming and friendly staff
Great for walks and cycle rides as right in the National Forest and loads of paths rather than rough walkways
Very secure site, keypad entry for site entrance barrier and toilet block
New YHA facility next door with coffee shop which served lunch and dinner each day
Family Pub within 3 miles (Cricketts Inn) which serves fab food
Conkers visitors attraction within 5 mins walk which is a great day out http://www.visitconkers.com/ if you take your Conkers camping receipt and Camping and Caravanning Club membership cards then one child goes in free with each adult (adults £7.95)
Morrisions supermarket approx 3 miles away
This really is a friendly club site.
  • Disliked: Dish-washing facilities are a little small, but not a huge problem
Could do with more facilities within the play area for children
