Quieter than expected and pretty well turned out!

  • Liked: The location of our caravan, in a quiet corner near the footpath to the village, also the proximity to the beach - a five minute walk- was ideal with smaller children. The 'entertainment' was fine for our 6 year old, but the 12 year old was unimprseed! The staff were friendly and helpful on the whole and the site was clean. Heacham itself a five minute walk and a lovely village.
  • Disliked: The bar and entertainment building - fairly old and worn out and a little 'nissen hut' esque! The caravan, a bronze one, was adequately sized, clean and comfortable but did smel a bit 'doggy'. There were three polythene bags of laundry from the last guests outside our van and, despite asking three times they weren't removed - not a huge problem but a bit lax. The kids club was ok, my daughter only went once, but not long enough and clearly needed more staff, hence the 'you must stay with your under 8 year old' rule - which is not a kids club in my mind!
