Pitches were far too close together to the point that I could see what the person next door was reading when she was sat outside and I was in the caravan. The car had to be left in the car park as there wasn't enough space to park it.
The site is mainly seasonal pitches and this is very apparent as they seem to 'rule' the site. The owners were lovely and helpful but I think the people in the seasonal pitches have the run of the place. On the second night, 3 families from different vans were outside drinking, shouting, clapping, singing etc until 5am! It was a complete lack of respect for the rest of the people staying there.
Toilets although very modern lacked finishing touches such as full length mirror, a place to hang clothes outside the shower cubicle as they would get soaked if hung on the back of the door, squigy mops for the floor; due to the grass being freshly cut, the floor in the cubicles was covered in it so as soon as you stepped out the shower you walked on grass cuttings. A mop would have meant it could have been cleaned after someone used it.
The food in the pub although ok and large portions, took 2 hours to be cooked. We were asked to order quickly as they were closing the kitchen at 7pm. We ordered a burger and chips, scampi and chips and a chilli at 6.50pm and received them at 8.40pm which is too late for my son to be eating.
