Liked: Very spacious plots. Shower block very comfortable with hot showers and piped music. Access easy and no time limit to return. Host very welcoming. Enjoyed our visit and would recommend it.

Disliked: Not ideal for motorhomes unless you are going to drive each day. We used taxis to take us to the local train station which were good but in short supply during school runs am and pm so you can't choose times to suit you. You cannot cycle to the station easily as roads are narrow and busy. Site owner not very flexible or helpful re site access with taxis so not a good choice and we won't be going there again. Site facilities average.

Liked: Like adults only but did feel very young. Possibly too young lol, Dog friendly as advertised.
Disliked: We chose this site as dog friendly and liked the wording fenced off dog area… which does exist but I think we read it as the area we were camping was the fenced off dog area? We would have liked our very well behaved dog off her lead but the site is “dogs on lead at all times”. Which we didn’t know until after we had arrived and it was brought to our attention. The owner was ok about our dog being off the lead maybe once it was clear we were in total control of our dog.
I am going to disagree with you on not being very flexible or helpful re site access with taxis and would hope 99% of our customers would agree with me,but when you asked me if I would be up at 6.30 am to let a taxi in for you and I responded with no I wouldn’t and that you would need to get to the gate yourself and see in the taxi with the gate fob you had been given on arrival you did seem somewhat disgruntled and the same the next evening when you rung doorbell after arriving home in taxi and expecting me to let him out.
Guests all have a gate fob (£10 deposit) so they can let themselves and any guests in and out of gates.
