What was there not to like? The whole camp site was spotless the showers where amazing the toilets where clean and presentable. The pitches where huge. I actually have nothing bad to say about the site. The owners where friendly and welcoming even if we had 8 minutes to go before the site shut when we got there. They have thought of everything from recycling to a freezer to washing up and for somewhere to put the hot ashes after a bbq will definitely be returning.

Not the sites fault.
You will need to drive to get anywhere and the roads to the site are quite narrow with a caravan(but so worth it).

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. As beginners to caravanning he even helped us set up. The site was beautiful and very well maintained. The toilets and showers were immaculate with lovely hot water. There is a fenced in field where you can let your dog run around, which is a huge bonus when they are kept on a leash for long periods of the day. This is an adult only site so it was very quiet and peaceful. There is also a washing up area and waste disposal area. Also plenty of water pipes around the site. Still Acres is a secure site with large gates.

Nothing it was perfect.

Well maintained and laid out. Level pitches. Brilliant dog field for off lead exercise. Showers and toilets top notch. Very peaceful. Owners so friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely return.
