Liked: Jeremy & Caroline are very warm, welcoming and accommodating! Beautiful scenery and good toilet & shower space. Great variation of pitches too depending on your needs and surrounding land that is full of natural beauty. Definitely recommend!

Liked: How green, natural and wild, that nature all around and each pitch separate with long grass and trees between. That quiet and able to explore.
Disliked: Long walk to main loo & shower. Portaloos elsewhere, no rubbish point.
Yes, sorry not on Pitchup info, but The Oak Tree & Pond pitches you have to walk up the tarmac lane/hill for approx 250m. Not had anyone mention this before, so not thought about it. You can drive up to the shower if you wish, parking there some do.
We do state on Pitchup that there is no rubbish disposal.
We do this as it makes people think about waste and the natural environment and 99% of our campers are ok with this. (Before when we did the waste & recycling for them, people have left broken tents/gazebos, clothes, multiple black bags, smashed glass, nappies in the pond etc. and attracted a different type of camper).

Liked: Laid back, spacious and very chilled. Great to have space around out pitch in such a natural setting.
Disliked: With the extra pitches opened up the facilities were under more pressure.

Wording on pitch up a little confused, but the meadow field only meant to have access to the portaloo and stand pipe water.

Liked: Stunning surroundings. Clear signage regarding distancing.
Disliked: Only one toilet will make it difficult to distance if it's busier.

Even if we had three toilets in the block still would only be able to use one due to covid-19 rules and distancing.
Different times and all learning experience for us all.

Liked: Amazing scenery all around campsite and big sized pitch, very reasonable price and friendly host.
