We absolutely loved the Shepherds Hut at Dale Head. Had a lovely warm welcome from Maggie and had a fantastic time in the warm, cosy well equipped Hut with wonderful views. The bed was also really comfy and the breakfast in the sun overlooking the valley - wonderful. Highly recommend.

Very cozy and hut had everything you that you would need. Hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely everything ! And will be returning x the shepherds hut was just so beautiful , the bed and quilt unbelievably comfortable, opened the hatch door to the most incredible views that money cannot buy.
Loved their pet dog Bria who often came to say hello , we took our own pumpkins and had them lit on the hut steps the perfect autumnal get away !
There was tea coffee and freshly baked biscuits in the cabin , we played cards and listened to the radio ! No WiFi in the van ( available at the out buildings ) but was glad of the break if were honest x
The breakfast in the mike I b the lovely lady brought over to us to eat on the seating area and it was just amazing ! I cannot thank them enough doe one of the most pleasurable stays I’ve ever had x

Absolutely nothing !

We loved our stay in the Shepherds hut at Dale Head Farm. Maggie and her family are superb hosts. The breakfasts lasted us all day! The views from the hut are breathtaking - even in bad weather. The woodburner made the place so toasty and was easy and safe to use. Maggie seems to have thought about everything in this fab little place.

I would have preferred the top bunk not to be there on the bed. It was a bit claustrophobic, but I wouldn't let it put me off staying here again.
