Gravel road is quite steep and some car and caravan combinations got stuck on going up to the pitches. Restaurant not dog friendly even though dogs are allowed on site.

Size of pitch was good

Lack of water taps and the ones that where there you had to keep pushing the tap on. There is no where to empty your waste water except for a small drain in the room that you empty the loo so you have to jump out of the way or get wet feet. Had some caravan on site all the time which look very untidy and the people in them went of to work every day so you where heard them every morning going off do no sleeping on. Was not easy to put up a awning as the pitch was surrounded with wood which was right where we needed to put the pegs. Staff where very nice.

Lovely site. Excellent facilities with a superb shower block and toilet / wash rooms, clean and easily accessible motorhome requirements and we wished we had been able to stay longer.
The restaurant on site was very useful and the food was good.
Staff were very friendly.

Toilet and shower units are nice but only 6, so could be busy if the site was full.
On a good day, the far-reaching views might be nice.

Pitch area, nothing more than a glorified car park: all stone hardstanding, with a grass edge.
Just one water tap and I didn't find a grey waste point (we were given no information on arrival as staff & manager were mainly engaged in the restaurant, which feels like the main focus).
Not an easy location from which to visit anywhere unless you have a car.
And the site is not one to spend any time on, even on a nice day.
We initially booked 4, opted to stay 2 but left after one (no refund expected or offered). A very costly mistake !!

The entire experience was excellent, the site has great view with some brilliant walks. The site staff are superb and are very friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the business. Site is clean and has good facilities.

We liked this site so much we stayed twice! We stayed the first night of our holiday, and then returned on the last night. Fantastic facilities, clean and plentiful. Beautiful site, stunning views and well kept. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, good selection of gluten free goodies, and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again. :)
