Flat site, lovely to go for walks and bike rides, a great cafe and farm shop a short walking distance too. Showers were good. I think if the site was busy which it wasn't then there might not have been enough toilets, but they were proper ones not portaloos. The showers were spacious. Victoria was lovely and we saw her bringing fire wood. We would stay at this pop up site again.

Firepits/logs for hire which made the evenings really cosy. Relaxed and quiet area.

The campsite was very quiet, especially at night, so it was peaceful and you really got that middle of nowhere feeling. You could pick your own pitch, all of which were large and there was plenty of scope to pitch together as a group. There was no light pollution so the stars were incredible, check in was very easy (just rock up and pitch), there was a good farm shop very close.

The showers were very patchy - tepid at best on some days and the spray wasn’t great in the main, often more of a random splatter but it was good that there was lots of space in them. No hot water at the washing up point so you had to boil water at your tent. Only 2 toilets for women and 1 for men. Think given basic facilities, it was probably a bit overpriced.

We loved everything about this campsite. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and calm. The showers and toilets were very clean. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and we would definitely visit again.

Wild horses, asses, does, stags etc.
Fire pits and wood for small extra cost.

Being woken up by predator animals hunting prey at 3am (in the nearby forests, not on the campsite!). Such is the natural circle of life ;-)
