Liked: Family pod was really nice and well equipped. Clean, warm and nice extra touches such as kettle, fire logs for a fire pit, picnic table. The hosts were really lovely and took the children to see the reindeer and large koi fish. Really friendly and helpful. Site was quiet and plenty of space for the children to run around. Pods were set away from the fishing lakes which was good with the children. Location is ideal for visiting Chester zoo and the crocky trail.
Disliked: The site is next to the busy main road so the road noise was pretty constant which is a shame.

Close to some lovely villages with great food (Tarvin, Kelsall..)

Liked: Staff was really helpful. Could not do enough for customers. Made to feel welcome. Breakfast fab, Also changed items for grandkids too for breakfast.
Easter show really enjoyable for young ones. A bit cold, British weather can't be changed thou.Disliked: Nowhere to put clothes when having a shower. A bit cold in shower room too, especially for kids. But clean.
No hair dryer point in shower room as electric kept going off. Did not want to risk hair dryer.
Electric hook up poor set up. Cables on show, multiple hook up point.
Never had a problem with electric before but did on this occasion.
A bit more investment on touring part the little things. It would be a great site. Staff are lovely.
