The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful-they came to my rescue when I popped the air mattress. Children enjoyed the playground. The on site shop was small but really useful. The facilities were new and spotless-lovely to have a hot shower after climbing Snowdon!

We had a lovely stay at the campsite, despite the weather having a bash at washing us out. The local mountains seem to shelter us a little. Overall we had more good days than we were expecting, and got a lot done.

The campsite is very friendly and a calm and peaceful place to stay. The shop is small but holds a fair number of essentials. Staff are very helpful. The toilet and shower blocks are adequate for the size of the site. Pitches are large and give plenty of space between campers. Local town is less than a mile away, there's a narrow gauge railway station in the town which goes to Caernarvon in one direction, and past Beddgelert in the other.

We had a fantastic time!

The wifi signal was weak or non-existent where we were on the site, but the phone signals were fine.

Lots of noisy kids, but can’t complain as it was a weekend in the school holidays so nothing the owners could do 😂

Lovely play area and sand pit. We loved being able to feed the donkeys. Stunning scenery at the base of Mount Snowdon. Lovely little shop and excellent customer service

Tyn Yr Onnen Campsite & Farm Review, with 2 Adults, 8, 6 and a 1 year old.
We stayed from Tuesday to Friday.
We were greeted by a lovely lady on reception, we were shown around the toilet to the family room bathroom, the playpark, the animals, the shop and the laundry room.

We had a large grass area, right next to the tap of water, which is always a bonus. We were right under some mountains and scenery was breathtaking.
The atmosphere is friendly, lots of children playing, we were based at the bottom of the field, which was quiet, but further away from facilities, which wasn’t a problem.

The toilets and showers were in immaculate condition. We mostly used the family room as it had a baby changing table, everyone that used the facilities while we were there, mopped up the water after themselves, as we did too.

The shop was small, but very convenient, it had pretty much everything that you need. The playpark is opposite, and a donkey feeding area, getting the food from the shop, which was £1 (very affordable.) and keeps the kids entertained.

The one part, I liked very much, is that I could wash my pots and watch the children in the playpark at the same time.

Can’t wait to come back next year.
