Space for children to play, pitches not too crowded. Quiet family friendly site.

Views of sea from top of camping field and pods only and no view from lower pitches (blocked by wall). Showers had no doors or seats so keeping clothes/stuff dry was difficult. Decking to shower block uneven and needs replacing. Facilities lacking if rainy- nowhere to get a coffee.

Nice field sheltered by a wall (which helped with the wind), just a short walk to the beach, beech shop, chippy, bar and arcade also a short walk away which was handy. The reception staff were lovely and we were able to choose our own spot on the site. Never had to wait to use the loo or shower, showers were free, as were the hairdryers, plenty of bins and field was kept clean and free from litter. Picnic benches were a nice touch too. Nice relaxed atmosphere and you could hear the sea which was nice. Located in a beautiful area with plenty to do a short drive away…or you could catch a train as campsite is right next to the station. Thought the trains would be noisy but could hardly hear them.

Toilet/shower facilities let the place down a bit. Some small improvements could make a big difference. toilets were ok, at least there was always loo roll and reasonably clean. Showers were very small and nowhere to put anything. A shower curtain would help keep the water off the floor etc or failing that, some sort of drain just in front of the shower tray to stop the water spilling out from the shower cubicle onto the floor outside making it slippery and muddy for everyone walking in. A mop would also be good as most people would be happy to give the floor a quick do after they have finished. My lad is old enough to shower by himself but heaven help anyone trying to get kids washed in there as there is no room and not enough hooks for towels etc.
The decking outside is an accident waiting to happen. I can see it’s not an easy fix as its the joists that have rotted so screwing down the planks won’t work. I believe they are going to sort it soon. If the toilet/wash facilities were improved I’d give this place five stars easily.

The campsite was family friendly and as first time campers we really enjoyed our stay despite the rain. Check-in on site was straightforward and the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The scenery was beautiful and the beach was just 10mins walk away. The facilities were always clean. It was a pleasant bonus to have access to an indoor heated pool and evening entertainment at Lyon's Sunnysand holiday park too!

Love this camp site! Been coming to this site for 13 years and wouldn't ever want to go anywhere else. Staff are friendly, site is welcoming, toilets are always clean, 2 minute walk to the beach, ice cream parlor, club, shop, arcade, American diner and fish and chip shop. Everything you need close by. Have a nice swimming baths less than a minute away along with a park and soft play. Thank you for an amazing stay. See you again next year.

Clean site, friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms, clean pods, room next to pods for a bbq. 5 minute walk to a large sandy beach. Shop, pub, restaurant, arcade and fish and chips are a 5 minute walk away on nearby caravan parks.

The decking outside the toilet block needs replacing (they already plan to do this)

Arrived at site on a very windy day. Man who gave us our pitch information was very pleasant and advised where best to pitch tent. Toilet facilities very clean
One of the employees staying on site helped to shelter our tent with his car when we were struggling against the wind.

A bench or more pegs would help in the shower room as nowhere to put belongings

Our stay was good,apart from the wind but thats the part of camping.love that we had wristbands to use the other sites.never heard of this before,we be going again for longer next time,only stayed fri to mon.grandkids cant wait.had use of a bench so no need to use mine.realy good site.toilets and showers clean to.beach down the road village of barnmouth 8 min away shops cafe icecreams what more could you ask for .also min funfair for children.

No hot water for two days- but resolved.
