Friendly welcome when we arrived by a lady who explained we could use the facilities at the sister parks e.g swimming and soft play . Lovely clean pod with sea views near to toilets and showers. We found it very peaceful at night . A short walk to a bar chip well stocked shop arcade and beautiful beach. Lovely ice cream shop by the beach. A short car journey to Barmouth town . Would definitely return a lovely few days away in beautiful surroundings

Lovely sea view, nice small site with toilet, shower and washing up facilities close by. Safe for the children to run around and dog friendly. Water was hot for washing up and showers.

The toilet and shower block was very muddy at various times of the day. Difficult to keep clean with the amount of people in and out of the same block though. Young group kept us up past midnight both nights, second night was after 02:30am.

General tidyness of the site very pretty setting, only a few minutes walk from a lovely seating area where you could get good food and a nice beer. And just a few metres further on on of North Wales nicest beaches at Talybont, nice hot showering facilities a couple of minutes walk from our tent pitch which with no gripes had been moved closer at our request due to my partners mobility issues.

Toilets perpetually low on toilet paper and floors soaked, some confusion on arrival as to which reception area I should use ended up leaving my car at the barrier and walk across the road to the adjacent sites reception to collect my arrival pack. Owners and upkeep staff seem quite aloof and quite socially closed off from customers there's no interaction

Absolutely fantastic site, amazing views, facilities, everything. Would recommend if you have small children. M wish we had booked longer!

Arcade and beach are only a short walk.

No shelving in bathroom block to put stuff like toothpaste and general toiletries, so had to place everything on the radiator each morning and evening. No separate or marked walkway for pedestrians to walk to other areas of the site, just a shared narrow road for cars and people, for such a large site it seems like an accident waiting to happen with youngsters around too. Could have clearer signage for entrance to campground as we turned in to the reception and spoke to the receptionist who said she has to redirect people to the correct area all the time. No signage outside of camping area to say where beach / restaurant / bar is.

Toilets/showers were invariably dirty, with no means to keep clean e.g. mop & bucket, squeegee, external carpet to at least wipe some mud off.
No pitch organisation, you could almost go where you wanted, with no consideration of separation between units (tents, caravans, motorhomes) hence forming a real fire risk.
Decking around toilet area a real health risk, especially for those not too sure on their feet.
No easy facilities for off loading waste (grey) water - had to be done where you are told it cannot be (at water points).
Chemical toilet area old, dirty and not at all pleasant.

Price. Well overpriced for just a field.
We travel as an extended family with 9 of us in total and 3 tents with 4 dogs between us all. Our camping holiday basically revolves where dogs are allowed , that’s why we always chose wales. We chose this site because it’s states you have access to another sister site close by , with entertainment , swimming , cafe. You do have access but it’s not dog friendly , dogs aren’t allowed anywhere in that site so it was a waste of time and money for us. We paid over the odds for just a field with nothing on.
The toilets / showers desperately need an update and bringing into 2023 , the showers literally stay on for 10 seconds before you have to push the button again. I stood with my back up against it to keep the water flowing. The hand dryer may aswel not be there, I stopped drying my hands in the end because I was still walking out with wet hands even after using it.

The site is very loud at night. The 11pm courtesy rule does not apply at this site. 1am I was getting woken up by laughter and shouting , i get everyone wants a good time but be courteous of other camp mates. Many have children and dogs and my dog would start barking at ridiculous times due to the noise.

The decking to the entrance is dangerous , there are boards that have came lose and bounce when you walk on them , screws missing and sticking out, serious H&S issue, we was shocked to see that all week nothing had been done to attempt to fix this or even section it off.

The communication between the site and staff is poor, I had issue with payment before I arrived and every time I phoned to speak to someone to sort it out , everyone gave me a different answer and several times I was told I’d have a call back to sort it. Never happened. Ended up paying for my children twice in the end , just to make sure my holiday wasn’t cancelled.

The holiday overall was really good, we love wales and go every year and we spend a lot of time out exploring, just a let down from the camp site. Wouldn’t stay again and I’d advise to stay away. Plenty of better ones near by for half the price.

Wow! Lovely site and only a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Stayed in a pod and will definately be back.

Toilets/showers not kept clean and toilet roll always empty. Glad I took my own supply!
Toilets/showers need a hose down at least twice a day as walking in first thing in the morning to very dirty toilet block was disappointing. If yhere had been a mop and bucket I would have mopped the floor myself and so would a few of the other guests staying there.
