Location

This was our go to campsite for years but we've been twice now since Lyons took over and it's really gone downhill. We loved going and being able to pitch up where you wanted, it was always packed but everyone gave enough room for each other. Now they've shut the 2nd field so everyone's on allocated pitches practically on top of each other in the first smaller field. First time the back of a couples tent was so close to the side of ours there was absolutely no space between the 2 and the second time we had a family next to us with two children under 3 who were all up at 6am and no consideration for anyone around them. The toilets were messy and no toilet roll in them in the mornings, they were always well kept with the previous owners. They rent what was the old owners house out with a hot tub and there was a group of lads staying in it over the weekend who were rowdy until 4am in the morning. Disappointing to say but we are now looking at other campsites.

Clean shower & toilet facilities.
Quick walk to the beach & a lovely pub.
Picking up the keys was straight forward & the pod was nice and clean.
I would advise taking a fan if staying in a pod as it does get very warm in there!

Outside lights on pods on dawn till dusk, shined in tent at night, only one sink to wash up. Some parts of field had dips and slopes so tents were uneven inside

Washroom Facilities need more regular checks. No toilet roll first thing etc.

Been coming to this site for year now we just love the location the site itselfis lovelyand tidy. Its alsoClose to the beach and close to the train station if we go into barmouth.

Maybe think about shutting the toilet block for half hour while it's being cleaned. I felt for the guy trying to clean as people were in and out. One little girl on her own wouldn't use the toilet when she seen a bloke in there cleaning she ran back to her mummy.
