Location

Only 3 female showers for the entire campsite and 4 toilets. I believe this is a the same for the men’s.
This is not adequate for the size of camp even when it isn’t full.
The facilities are also outdated , no room in showers it sit or place bags. Except for 2 hooks on the wall but limited space once out the shower.
Due to the lack of facilities the toilets were blocked most days I stayed. Showers did not drain so you stand in used water from the person before when you step in.
I’m sure if you pay for a tent pitch this may be adequate. However I payed £500 approx for a pod and expect decent facilities for this price.
There is no where for kids to play on the campsite, just something to consider for anyone taking kids.

Amazing setting, relaxing and lots of options to do different things

Very minor thing, but consider additional shower block. During busy periods a queue formed waiting for showers.
No WiFi and minimal phone signal

The fact it states no dogs aloud over 11kg and on our 3rd night a tent pitched up nxt to us with 3 very large breed dogs off leads , felt unsafe letting my little boy run around ,I rang reception and we got moved which I felt was wrong ,had to take tent down and rebuild in another area, nothing was done about the off lead dogs

The ladies on reception were lovely and helpful.

Toilets were right at the top of site , our pitch was at the bottom so had to walk the length of campsite to use the toilet, I am in my 50s and have to visit the toilet in the middle of the night. there were only 3 toilets for a large full campsite, by morning they were filthy and no toilet paper. The showers were also poorly cleaned, no mop or anything to clean ourselves so had to get out of shower onto a muddy floor. There was only one outside sink for washing up dishes. Next to the campsite the owners had a field where disused caravans were dumped along with other waste materials during our stay some lads set the caravan on fire my husband and 2 other men jumped the wall and put the fire out as it was too close to their tents , when my husband explained to the maintenance site man who turned up when the fire brigade came that he had used the on site fire extinguishers he was quite abrupt and certainly no thanks.

Accessible location to the beach. Short drive from Barmouth

Very basic site, only 4 toilets and showers (4 male 4 female) for whole site so makes peak times very busy.
Toilets never stocked with toilet paper. Only 2 water taps, no water taps at all on field 2. All bins overflowing and very smelly during our stay. Pitches not very level on field 2. It says no groups but there were very large groups of people all pitched together making a lot of noise into the night

Absolutely beautiful setting! Waking up to great views of the sea! Situated in an amazing area just outside Barmouth!

Absolutely loved it. Great location. Close to beach. Kids played all day. Bbq area, friendly ppl. Going back in already booked for sept again.

Booked the morning of the stay decided to take a trip to the beach while the sun was out, very helped lady at reception who gave us all the information we needed. The pods are fantastic we managed to fit 2 double airbeds inside with space to move , gorgeous sea view , plenty of field for my children to play football/games , Use of the shower and toilet facilities within a stone throw!!
The pod has a tv with dvd player which was perfect… lovely bench just outside the pod to eat at and plenty of space to put a couple of deck chairs on the decking.

No wifi

The swimming pool was a favourite and the arcades and food were very nice

Clean spacious site, staff were super helpful. We didn’t realise that there was a shop and amusements. Added bonus for the kids for sure.
Will definitely go back for sure.

Toilets weren’t the tidiest. Often no toilet paper. Took my own so no issues.
