Great location and between hills and the sea. Great staff, caring and helpful.

Facilities could be a bit bigger, not enough showers and toilets for that many guests and there was only one dish wash sink.

If you are after great beach views and easy access to areas of Barmouth beach then this place is for you.

Good spaces for each pitch plot, if you are having electric pitch you'll need a very long lead (20m +) as points a dual shared.

Apart from that, shower block is generally clean and hot water on demand.

Friendly staff on site and only a 10 mins walk to the beach, which on route has amusements, waffle house, ice cream parlour and a fish and chips shop to choose from.

Only grip is a single washing up station, so prepare for queues... On the plus side I had some decent chats with fellow campers whilst waiting :)

Great campsite and plenty to do for the kids, arcades, shops, bar and parks right near the beach also

Close to the train station of which was one of the worst experiences of my life in terms of travel. Do not recommend, you are crammed in like sardines!

Staff were friendly and helpful, and gave great recommendations. They are the sites biggest assets.

* The facilities were absolutely dreadful. Toilets were backed up with waste almost every day we were there. So bad so the showers were continually blocked and when we tried to ‘plunge’ them, all matter of waste came back up through the pipes. There is nowhere to place your toiletries in the shower, so be prepared to do a juggling act. They also smelled awful as you approached. I recognise this was a busy weekend being bank holiday, but knowing you’re booked to full capacity, you’d think enhanced cover would be arranged to make sure the facilities were cleaned appropriately. Car boot toilets are cleaner.

* The maintenance of the site isn’t the best, bins were overflowing with waste attracting seagulls that woke you up in the early hours.

* We were pushed to the far end of our pitch to make room for another family with a large tent. There’s apparently a noise curfew on this site of 11pm that clearly didn’t apply to those next door with their screaming children. Awful, worse than the gulls.

Whoever owns this site needs to undertake a priority review. Clean facilities are a given when you’re paying in excess of £130 for a couple of nights!!

It was very easy to check-in and checkout toilet facilities were clean, brilliant staff beautiful views would recommend it walk away from the beach can’t wait for the next time

Showers stink
Put me in middle of a field told me to put my tent up felt like I was doing a bush tucker trail.
The wind was so bad my 1 year old had to help me hammer the pegs in, disgusting.

Lovely site very clean lovely polite staff fab location for kids

No onsite park /playground for kids but we took plenty of outdoor toys /games so the kids didn’t really mind

Convenient location.

We stayed in a pod, they back right onto a train track (very noisy til late which wasn't great with a sleeping toddler), toilets were disgusting with the showers not having a temperature dial were constantly boiling hot so wasn't appropriate for us as a family, was very noisy til very late with people partying and playing music well into the early hours of the morning, everything that was near the walls of the pod got soaking wet, lots of litter around, the people staying were very disrespectful, was very cramped and crowded, didn't see any staff on our 5 day stay to discuss anything with, tried to book swimming but was fully booked every day, whilst we didn't need it-there was no wifi available as advertised.

First time using the glamping pods at the site and very impressed. Was with my 14 year old son and his friend. Easy check in process. Pods were spacious and clean with easy access to facilities.
Good affordable option to be based in a good location and would definitely recommend.
Only negative showers could do with updating otherwise very good.
