    Lovely location clean showers and toilets nice local walks and hiking trails hours drive from snowdon and few castle visit and just round the corner from mach loop and cadair idris Barmouth just down the road and manage to do the local 5mile road race. Staff are friendly. The village is nice and near for pub dinner and Starbucks is 5 minutes walk down the road 👍

    Loved the area close to lots of lovely places we stayed here as we was visiting snowdon, we also visited mines and waterfalls. Site was friendly was able to set up early and no one was on our pitch, facilities were clean and well managed. Would def recommend and be back with the kids.

    The facilities were very good. They were cleaned twice a day and the wash room included a fridge, freezer and kettles. Not what we expected, and we were pleasantly surprised. The site was small and ideal for location.

    The 11pm quiet time is a little late for a family campsite.
    A park of some sort would be a nice touch for children

    Good location for exploring, especially if fancying a trip to Mac Loop. Good facilities available. Showers clean and warm. Pitch size had plenty of room. Friendly staff on site

    The site went from 5 stars to 3 stars purely because our pitches in particular (40-42) were very difficult to set up on. This was because the ground was full of ‘hardcore’ making it near impossible to pitch up in places. What should have been a 15minute set up took near an hour to find suitable ground that would take the pegs. The pitches needed more top soil…. Rest in peace pegs

    showers were cleaned regular the staff were great and the area is awsome
    its a short drive to town and the cross foxes and ideally placed for various spots on the mach loop
