Good location, facilities OK and kept clean, great you could have a fire pit and sit out at night roasting marshmallows. Staff friendly and helpful.

Tight access road, but not a problem. Was super busy and noisy, but was a bank holiday weekend so was expected.

The communication with owners and staff, the facilities and accommodated with needing a toilet tent on the pitch. The site is well worth going to, very good accessibility to the main road. The campers all followed the site rules so it was absolutely pleasant you almost think your in pardise, some beautiful night view's. Great for disabled people. There is so much positive things to say

Beautiful site with good roadway and safe to walk on to the toilets in the middle of the night! Toilets were checked regularly and on the whole were clean, not your fault it rained so much. Good to see wildlife and the horses.

The entrance drive was very rough, but once on site as said above the road was good. I was hoping for a range of leaflets at reception showing what was available to do in the area re walks etc. We sometimes had to park at the top of the lane to get signal to access websites etc., to know where to go and what we could do. Decided to do more research at home in future.

We booked 2 plots well in advance but only one was available to us when we arrived. The plot was extremely muddy . The access to the tent for the cars was so muddy the cars were sliding sideways one of which slid into a tent. The shower blocks and toilets were very poorly maintained doors falling off, shower attachment hanging off the wall and ceiling paint falling off. No plugs for the sinks and no hairdryers. All the facilities were in poor condition due to a lack of maintenance and there were not enough of them for the amount of plots on site. We left early and would not recommend this site.

The facilities available, plus they were very clean couldn’t fault them. Also the pitch we had, had a great view over looking the rest of the site with a very good view of the hills.

We also had an issue of a car parked in our parking space and the staff were very kind and helpful with solving this issue.

My family's second visit to this location and the site was lovely as usual. The shower blocks are up-to-date and modern and regularly cleaned; though difficult to maintain when everyone is so muddy! Bought a couple of bags of firewood despite the heavy rainfall and toasted marshmallows. It's a family friendly campsite with children who are a mixture of ages. Local walks and waterfalls are in reach and it's a short cycle (12k) or drive to Barmouth beach. On this particular site there is a polite notice for quiet after 11pm and everyone is respectful of that.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very accommodating which meant that when it rained the grassy path to and from the tents became a mud bath. As we were on slight incline it was particularly concerning when families where trying to enter or evacuate in their vehicles as they were sliding or getting stuck in the mud; perhaps designating a semi-permanent grid for cars would be beneficial for all and wouldn't detract from the esthetics of the site.
