What a fabulous site!! Quite possibly the best one we’ve stayed at and there’s been a few!! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and even took the time out to say what a well behaved and friendly dog we had with us and it was a pleasure to have him!!(Ted the German Shepherd). Site was clean and well maintained and we particularly liked all the little extras provided just in case you forgot anything, tea, coffee milk etc. Communal area was clean, tidy and well thought out at all times. Showers were without a doubt the best showers we’ve had!!! So much so neither me or the other half wanted to get out of them, especially after being caught in terrible rainfall. Site is also close by to nearby tourist attractions and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within driving distance. We will definitely be returning to The Paddocks and look forward to it, thanks for having us.

What an amazing adult only site and lovely couple that run it. Small site with large flat pitches which is ideal. Excellent shower and toilet facilities cleaned regularly every day by Juliette - look brand new. Fridge and freezer access, toaster, microwave and proper sinks (3) for washing up etc all under cover.

Juliette and Leigh (Lee?) are wonderful and amazingly helpful. Stopped one night and stayed on for a further eight days!

I think other sites might struggle to meet the quality of this site.

We liked everything about this site owners we’re really lovely, communal was fantastic they supplied all washing up materials microwave toaster ice making machine, toilets and showers were gleaming thus is the best site we’ve stayed at will definitely be going back

Arrived to a well maintained campsite with large pitches and great amenities, the showers/toilets were always immaculate and never had to wait long if at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely return in the future. Loved sitting at night enjoying a relaxed atmosphere we even had the pleasure of seeing a barn owl on several occasions sitting around the dog walking field. The area had lots of lovely places to visit nearby and shops and restaurants a short drive away.
