Nice location with a nice local pub in walking distance, they allowed us to bring our dog.

No path to the toilets had to walk through mud. Was supposed to be there for 2 nights but left after the first night due to letting "travellers" on the site that surrounded us. They had lots of dogs running free and screaming kids. They tried to sell me one of their dogs and felt very uneasy once they turned up.

It was open unlike many sites at this time of year. The text on the day was helpful and the wifi worked. Lovely area and like others would recommend The Brasenose.

We pulled on site to be surrounded by people felt very intimidated we decided not a good idea to stop very disappointed as we were looking forward to what the pictures and reviews had said. You should not feel threatened when you are away for a weekend.

Beware!! We will not stay here again. We were very disappointed as this site had some good reviews, we booked for 2 nights but during our first night our Motorhome had an attempted break in, the majority of our locks had been bent with a sharp implement!! We walked to the local pub and this happened whilst we were away from our motorhome!! I reported it to the owner who said he had, had trouble with the people on site and needed to ask them to leave!! I do hope he does as I fear for others who visit if he doesn’t! The people who stay on this site have dogs tethered and one of the caravans left their dog out all night in cold conditions, the poor dog had to sleep under the hedge to find shelter! Obviously we did not return for our second night!

very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Relaxed campsite which is kept really neat. Animals on site great to see. Facilities really good and clean. Easy walk into the village which makes a nice place to wander round. Highly recommend the Brasenose to eat in. All in all a very friendly site and village to visit, hopefully we get to visit again

Toilets and showers are to a high standard.

Great proximity to the canal and local pub and cafe. Site felt secure and open in nature. I went in winter when the weather was awful but seems they might have some interesting attractions on the site.

Access to the toilets is only over grass, which was extremely wet due to heavy rain. That meant the floor to the showers was dirty. So coming out of the shower to get dressed was not a great experience. No hot water in toilets (bust pipe sign said), but no hand driers either.

It is a great campsite with easy access around the site and lots of room on the pitches. We're relatively new to towing so we appreciated no tricky turns into the site and lots of space. The day of arrival, we received a text with clear instructions as to what to do and even which entry roads to avoid due to flooding which was extremely handy. The toilets and shower block were clean and of a good standard. Our little boy loved the wooden play area, seeing the trains and also the ability to see the goats. The local area has a nice dog-friendly cafe - Mulberry Cafe - which serves a great breakfast and is just a short walk away. It was a shame the falconry or aviary section wasn't open on this occasion. We'll be back to visit again for sure!

Owners are very informative and accommodating. Great to see goats and birds on the site. For anyone that likes trains you can see them go past close to the site. They didn’t disturb us but probably would be loud on the grass pitches next to the line. We were on the gravel the other side. Nice park on site and 2 pubs and cafes within walking distance.

Not sure whether this is standard as we’ve just started out but the grey waste needed to go in the loo type dispenser with the loo waste. Was hard to lift the container and had to lean it on the surface where’s lots of toilet waste splash back. So would be great to have a ground level drain for that.
