Noisy until way after midnight, a bit tired and could be cleaner. Not recommended for hikers

The staff everywhere on site were absolutely brilliant. Our caravan was spotless and really warm. Food in the bar was great. All in all a totally brilliant break.

Facilities were old and in desperate need of refurb.
Toilets / showers were dirty and not very well kept
Swimming pool was very run down, in desperate need of investment changing area very limited in space 2 out of 4 showers didn’t work, dirty floors.

Thunderbird chicken was amazing. Stayed in croyde burrows. Decent size pitches. . Their own restaurant wasn't bad but portion sizes looked naff on large plates... Site right next to sea, amazing sandy beach.. swimming pool not too bad.. overall average stay.

Shame toilet blocks are out dated and not great. Chippy wasn't great, oil maybe old that was used as colour dark brown in chips... left horrible taste! On site resturant wasnt bad but daughter had chicken carbonara, not one bit of chicken in it!! Shop on site steeply over priced.

The help from staff when we needed to move to a caravan, was amazing. They couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy with everything

Access to beach was really good
Although tired facilities were really good, plenty of showers, toilets water stand pipes and electric hook ups.

Exposed during high winds, hedging around the site could have protected awnings / tents
Facilities tired in need on some maintenance - holes in ceiling in showbar
No doors on toilet cubicles in gents at the swimming pool
Lack of communication between reception and swimming pool to advise of swim times and the need to book

Lovely site, staff in reception so friendly and helpful. Great little site to stay on. Ideal if surfings your thing! Amusements, entertainment, bar, little soft play, pool & park. Plenty to help keep the kids entertained.

Food in the restaurant was over priced and wasn’t great, the fish and chip shop is massively overpriced and was absolutely disgusting. Complete waste of money.
The pool could be better, the whirl pool takes away any opportunity for the kids to just splash around.
Soft play could be cleaned and managed a bit better.

The setting- close to the beach. The chicken shop was amazing!

The whole organisation of the place was terrible!
We were allocated a pitch, set up and throughout the weekend to be told by several other ‘campers’ that we were on their pitch was quite confrontational and made us feel uneasy.
Went to Reception to say and they asked what the chances of us moving were!
At no point did we see staff on the touring fields doing a check of pitches for them to allocate for their next guests or have some logic in managing the field for campers.
Showers/toilet blacks were a bit tired.
Washing up area was filthy all weekend and never wiped down.
Never saw a staff member or anyone cleaning the facilities all weekend and we were pitched right by them.
Field very boggy when it rained.
