Beautiful beaches, nice club house and places to eat

A little windy in the tent would definitely try a caravan next time!

Good pitch close to Croyde Bay beach unfortunately we experienced a wet and windy week.

Shower and toilet facilities for site below standard. Wet suits washed in showers instead of shower area outside of facilities block.
General cleaning of a very poor standard, it is obvious that Parkdean Resorts team do not inspect any of the facilities. Toilet paper on block floor for three days before being cleared and as mentioned sand in shower area.
Most showers were usable but partitions and hooks were missing or damaged, locks on shower doors were also damaged or missing .
WiFi in caravan area non existent. disappointed all round.

Our third visit, and we really love this spot. The site has good sized plots and plenty of hot showers and loos. This bit of the Ruda site is tucked behind the dunes and is across the road from the main complex, which suits us well.

Croyde bay is hard to beat... good surf, sand dunes, river, exciting coasteering on the rocks, lovely coastal path over the hills at each end, etc. It's perfect for a family holiday.

The eating options are a bit limited in and around the Ruda site if you don't want fried stuff/pizza/chips, but it's not far to the village for better options.

This is a relatively expensive campsite, but you're paying for the location.

You can’t beat the location, facilities are a little tired, but then it’s not expensive. Good shop onsite and not expensive, I walked into the bar, plenty of tables, but no decent real ale, so went to the pub instead.

Lots of facilities if you needed them. Short walk into Croyde for customary icecream!

Great location, bus stop right outside site. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

No hot water in gents showers.
But had access to showers on a different field.

Neighbours were friendly and a beautiful location - we even added an extra day onto our stay!

Toilet and shower blocks were one downside of the stay. Both of the blocks could do with stripping down and facilities replacing inside.

The floor in both blocks was broken, with bolt locks broken/missing for 3/5 days of my stay

Ruda holiday park is a fantastic destination if you love the beach ,surfing paddle boarding ,body boarding or just relaxing you can hear the waves from your pitch.The staff very helpful and polite there is a supermarket and take always on site and lovely pubs and street food venders just outside the park the beach is safe and lifeguards are on patrol most of the day.The calming and touring fields have a very relaxed vibe and you come away recharged .

Come on park dean the toilet blocks are disgusting I would have rather had a strip wash at the washing up sink thank god We never had little ones with us .Families save hard for a break and have to use these facilities to wash their kids they were filthy,no locks on the doors broken tiles blocked toilets,one toilet was blocked for over a day with a wet floor sign in front of it.It’s not fair on your guests or your staff you need to invest.more fool me as this is my second visit I thought I would have improved not got worse.Also it rained and the roof on the arcade and restaurant leaked so there was buckets everywhere.
