The facilities felt quite tired.
Queuing for the pool.

Staff were accommodating to our request to change from the pitch allocated. Plenty of choice for food on site, although very expensive. Large camping pitches on perimeter of Taw field. Beautiful beach a short walk from the site.

Pitches uneven and on a slight slope so all inflatable furniture gradually migrated from one side of the tent to the other and tables impossible to keep level, even with blocks under some legs. Original pitch more suited to caravan as large rocks near surface - unsuitable for a tent. As stated staff happy to let us move to a different pitch. Facilities need an urgent upgrade with only one hand dryer available. Ladies toilets and shower block cleaned exclusively by men. Group of teenage boys entering ladies shower while my 13 year old daughter was inside. Sinks in ladies shower not connected to waste outlet but was a bucket underneath to catch the waste water.
Brochure was slightly misleading as photos contained inside were 'for illustrative purposes' and did not look like Ruda
We only stayed 2 nights out of 7 booked as the weather was so awful and with so little to do with tweens we decided to leave early.

Great clean park. Lots for the kids to do and walking distance to the beach.

Toilets and shower block were dirty and unkept. The sink was blocked for days - disgusting!
Where do I start with the Wi-Fi!! None.
We left after 3 days!!

Facilities were tired and old. Male cleaner in female shower with no notice of times cleaning would be taking place or by a male cleaner (could avoid if times known.) this made it uncomfortable getting changed when getting out of the shower as man stood about. That been said facilities were kept clean

Evening entertainment for kids was poor, the “characters” were on a screen not people dressed up like other park Dean resorts. We booked this site for this and indoor pool and little one (5 yrs old) said it was rubbish and didn’t want to go back for second night (previously stayed 4 nights at monkey tree in Newquay where she loved the disco and funky monkey entertainment)

Swimming pool - must book a time slot before arrival and is quite run down / old fashioned. Lack of adequate changing rooms

Toilet and shower block needs a revamp.

So close to the beach- you can see it from the campsite!
Shower blocks and toilets were regularly cleaned and were a good standard.

Clubhouse and arcade are smaller than other sites we’ve visited And there were several buckets to catch drips from the roof but it appeared staff were attending to it.

Friendly stuff, delicious food, beautiful view, everything you need on your door step. The toilets/showers could do with a bit of tlc and modern touch but clean and functional .

The cleaners in the ladies toilets/showers are male.

Great site, close to the beach which is good for surfing and body boarding.

Indoor pool was fully booked up and only slot available was in 5 days time. The website wouldn’t allow to book any activities.

Loved the facilities on offer.
The entertainment was great, lots for the kids to do with Arcades, swimming pool, the beach just across the road.
Pitch size was huge which was a pleasant surprise.
Restaurants were speedy and the app was easy to use.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely weekend break

The bathroom facilities were adequate.
We walked further to use the main bathrooms as these were a little newer and light and airy compared with the black floor and walled shower/toilet area, but they were both clean facilities.
