Such a lovely stay at this site. We stayed in a camping pod in November and were a bit concerned about how cold we may be, but despite the snow outside we were so warm and cosy! The pod was bigger than expected and spotless, the bed very comfortable and the toilet and shower facilities were really clean and well kept.
We were welcomed by the staff, site residents and other guests in the on-site pub, especially by Jan who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was really good and very well priced and entertainment was fab. We had a great time.

The best thing about this site is the hosts......Jan and Shaun was fantastic! From check in to check out this pair was always on hand any problem that arose. Site amenities was always immaculate. No qualms about staying here again at all..

Only dislike if I was being picky was toilets was too far away from my pod, soaybe another small toilet block at the top end of the site would be helpful

Would love a heated pool was 2nd time staying here. Even in summer the pool was freezing. But not too much of a complain. Would be nice if it was a bit warmer. It was expected tho.

Lovely welcome and given a hard standing pitch which was great. The river walk was gorgeous and it’s near to some lovely market towns.
Lovely soaps in the bathrooms

Very little to dislike but the showers are a bit tired and drained very slowly.

Lovely site very friendly. We stayed in a pod for 2 nights, very clean and very warm, thought it might be cold on a night but it was very warm. Kids loved the park and the freedom they had been able to play around the site

Lack of toilet roll and hand soap was very watered down. Only thing that was below par

We came back for Halloween! We have absolutely loved every minute of it! We brought back our family who stayed in 3 of the camping pods ans another tourer.
We had the best time at the club house, with great food and drinks! So friendly for children and dogs. Thank you again to Jan and Shawn and family for making our stay so much better! We can’t wait to stay again next year.

Staff really welcoming

Not informed no hot water so unable to shower. Was informed it would be on by the first evening by the second day still no hot water. No hand soap in bathrooms. Nothing to dry hands. No toilet paper in men’s toilets, and ladies ran out within first day. We were unable to contact anyone on site using the mobile number given to find out when the hot water would be back on. I called but was cut off, texted but no response. The facilities were dated, but partially clean.
We used the restaurant/ bar first evening. Ordered jacket potato pizza and chips. It took one and quarter hour for pizza to arrive (undercooked) then five minutes later chips, then fifteen minutes later jacket potato.
We were sad to find these issues, as the reviews seemed amazing. We arrived Friday and left Saturday morning cutting short our stay.
