We had a lovely 3 nights stay here.

The whole site is immaculately looked after and clean. The toilet and shower area especially. The children’s play areas are a great size and there are multiple play areas across the site. The fishing ponds look well stocked and well pegged (if you’re into fishing). The motorhome pitches were a great size, although we do have a small campervan. The cafe on site is expensive but we’ll worth the money as the food is great.

Unfortunately, for how well maintained the site is, I felt that the staff were not very welcoming. I was stood at reception waiting for staff members to finish their conversation before they eventually acknowledged I was there. We booked this site specifically for the heated pool as the website advertised that the pool was open May-September “regardless of the weather”. The pool was closed and staff were not accommodating of our complaint. They did however offer a small refund. The site is well priced if the pool was in action as the website stated but was not worth the money if it’s not open. The small shop on site is fairly expensive. The site is let down by the unwelcoming staff.

Everything. Clean facilities, well kept playgrounds. Rural settings.

The site was absolutely beautiful, there was many shower blocks and toilets which was very clean every time you went to use them very modern and up to date with technology there was plenty for the children to do as there was a games room tennis court football nets plus a swimming pool which was stunning. The cafe and on-site shop was just as lovely. The staff and owners were amazing! They go above and beyond for their customers. The lakes were beautiful and if you fancy a spot of fishing that’s available too I would definitely recommend this site and I will 100% be booking for Easter this is one of the best campsites i have visited and I do a lot of camping !

Excellent site with clean facilities, very friendly staff and level pitches. The pool was a bonus when we had extremely hot weather
