Everything! The campsite was so clean and tidy. Our pitch was perfect. There were rabbits, squirrels and lots of birds which was lovely. The staff are very friendly. We had breakfast twice in the cafe and it was really nice with good service. The swimming pool was great.The toilets and showers were excellent and had hairdryers fitted to the wall. They have play parks for children and a games room. This is the best site that we have visited.

Great shower and toilet facilities, well kept clean site, friendly staff.

Second visit now and both times Café was closed so very difficult to get a hot meal with a dog in the rain.

Excellent park, neat and tidy and very friendly staff. Toilet and shower block was being cleaned late at night when I used them. Lovely walk in to the local village.

Not really a dislike but would have liked a hook on the toilet door for big coats when running the loo in the rain.

Facilities

Cafe was a little pricey.
Pitch size said for a 6 person tent but there were lots of 8. I did phone to check this as we wanted to come with friends and they confirmed the pitch size (size of a 6) but this didn’t seem the case when we arrived.

Site was mainly well maintained

Put on a pitch (hard standing), which was obviously prone to flooding which wasn’t good in a tent with two children. We spent most of our stay wet and muddy, and staying in basically a swamp

We enjoyed our mini break, site is very Beautiful with lots of wildlife. Me and my daughter had the pool to ourselves which was relaxing.

Cafe expensive

Pool was lovely, not too packed with children at weekends due to booking system, off peak last week pool was perfect and warm from solar panels with back up system.
All facilities clean and easy to use.

Food in cafe was exceptional, beautifully presented, need to cook burgers slower as they were very dark outside but perfect inside , nice choice of food. Good salad mix.

we visited the monkey forest trentham 1 hrs drive away arranged to feed them breakfast booked when slots available in november to visit in may fabulous experience they had babies and young which were entertaining and so very cute !!
Our tower for electric and water was cracked and leaking we forgot to tell them .it was like that when we arrived .
There is a grass area for football and a tennis court, the dog walking area is perfect with poo bin and welly wash area.
Wildlife in abundance especially canada geese , ducks etc due to fishing lake.

Needed to ring to get gate opened when we needed to leave at 8am for monkey experience but they were happy to oblige.wifi slow and kept cutting off .
