    This is a lovely little site and the owners were extremely helpful when they visited the site in Saturday (we missed them on the Friday as we were slightly late arriving but they left a voice message telling us where to site our caravan etc).
    It’s a perfect location for Pickering and beyond.

    Another fabulous stay at Lakeside. The site is in great location, only a short stroll into Pickering, with the Sun Inn being a good pit stop 😃. Lovely walks on the doorstep and buses if you want to go further afield. A big thankyou to Dave, Elaine and Coco for a lovely welcome x

    Great location, 20mins walk to town centre, nice clean and tidy site with plenty of water and waste points, Dave the owner is very pleasant and helpful with plenty of local knowledge, a great stay would definitely return.👌

    Wonderful friendly welcome from Dave and Elaine. Elaine is very knowledgeable of the area. Site was a picture of small shrubs and flowers with mature and not so mature trees. Both Dave and Elaine apologised for the newly resident crows, but as I said that was hardly their fault. Coco came and introduced herself to us and Mabel our dog.
    The area for the bins was clean and tidy as was the toilet drop, no over flowing bins and no smells from the loo drop.

    The Owners what a fantastic couple, we’re novices and Dave actually parked our caravan for us. The site is small but really well maintained but no loos or showers. Location is great easy 15 minute walk into Pickering centre.

For some one who came late and left early i quess you made your review in the dark. Very suprised to see your accomodation only recieved 1* as well. I did find out why you were late arrival because you could not read the signs "Lakeside". or find the gate with entrance on it.You did not like anything!! but at least liked your two white crosses on red background, Dave.

    Site is easy to find, walking distance to Pickering center and the NYMR.
    The owners are lovely people who cannot do enough for you.
    There are 4 grass and 3 gravel pitches all with electric, there is other disposal and clean water easily accessible.
