Lots of things to do walks along the beach enjoy the fireworks and entertainment

Pitches fine. Views of sea spectacular. Tons of kids activities: Great indoor swimming pool, crazy golf, indoor rock climbing etc. It was a bit rainy this half term so it was ideal to have some indoor active things to do. The walks right off the site and along the coast path are beautiful. The little beach is also really lovely, even in the wind and rain!
Staff were all v friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. It was super clean and seemed to run efficiently.

I thought there could’ve been more planting of shrubs and trees in between pitches. It felt a bit bare. Maybe some people like that?
Surprised that we had to pay extra for crazy golf & swimming. Felt food was expensive and not reflected in quality (£13 for a meh lasagne). I don’t mind paying more for good food but it didn’t feel like good value.
Also, I really don’t like having do download an app just to order food in the restaurant. I like to have a server to talk to. Perhaps this is really good to limit how run off their feet the staff are in the high season. The staff were all friendly tho, but the restaurant manager used our visit to patronisingly train the new staff member in front of us which made that pretty awkward for her and us…

Fab clean family atmosphere

I always judge the places I stay on the toilets! And they were immaculate! The showers were always hot. The pod I stayed in was clean. The onsite fish a chip shop was brilliant. I didn't make use of all the facilities but there seemed plenty for the family. If like us you like your costal walks this made a great base. Would definitely go again.

Very clean site, plenty of toilets and showers on the wash room.
Really friendly staff throughout the park.
Level serviced pitches, good touring facilities.
Lots for the kids to do and they were able to explore the site. It is quite a large site but it didn’t feel overcrowded and was nice and quiet.

It didn’t detract from a good holiday but I agree with other comments about lack of bins/recycling for touring pitches. It would have helped to have had some closer, easier to find. The path from our pitch down to the main site was rather overgrown and not particularly well lit. I think this could be improved.

Facilities were warm and clean

Had the last pitch at the very top of holiday park had to walk down a steep hill to facilities and more important steep hill back up.

I spent four nights camping at Ladram Bay and wished I could stay longer. The tent pitches were level with beautiful views of the ocean and only a few meters away from the showers and toilets that were in better condition than most hotels I've stayed in. The holiday park had a lovely beach, restaurant with ocean views, fish and chips take away, pub with daily entertainment for young and old, well stocked shop with everything you need and more, indoor swimming pool, basic gym and miniature golf - all of which I used several times and completely exceeded my expectations. There is also a few coastal paths you can walk to the next town with great scenery if you want to hike out for lunch and come back. Note that mobile phone reception is quite low but it's not the resort's fault, just something you need to take into account. I switched my phone off anyway and checked it once a day when going for dinner (restaurant, pub and pool area has free Wifi).

I have already booked my next trip to Ladram Bay with my wife in a few week's time.

Pitch size was good - plenty of space for 8x5m tent plus our day van.
Facilities were excellent - we visited the pool, the restaurant, the arcades and the outdoor play areas.
Our pitch was close to the excellent shower and toilet block.
Views of the bay were beautiful.

Although our pitch was a good size, it was on a significant slope and the ground was quite uneven. This limited the orientations we could have chosen to pitch it at.
Ladies toilets, although they appeared spotless, smelt very bad - possibly need to empty sanitary and nappy bins more often?
Because we were camping, we had to pay almost £20 for our family of four to swim for an hour - those in lodges or caravans get to swim for free I think.
The fish and chips were pretty poor - the fish especially was some of the worst we’d ever had!! For the price and proximity to the coast, this isn’t good enough.
No WiFi for the pitches and mobile signal was poor ( we had phones of both 3 and O2 networks)

Could not have been better, clean and showers first class. Staff polite and so helpful we extended our stay for another four days.
