Friendly owners, lovely location, new toilet/ shower block- lovely and clean.

This is probably the nicest site we have ever stayed at. The layout is very well thought out and all the facilities are built to a very high standard, there is even a dog shower. It is beautifully landscaped and the pitches are enormous. We chose the site for its close proximity to the forest for dog walking and mountain biking and it was perfectly placed for both those pursuits. It would also suit horse riders as there is an area to accommodate them.

The only slight niggle was there was no drop point for the grey water, only a drain for grey water in portable containers.

Adults only sites are normally quiet.
Peaceful and just have couples who appreciate the quiet and enjoy the peace where no one bothers you and you can just chill.
Unfortunately at the weekend there was a group who turned up. Where the Adults behaved like children.
Swingball constantly banging.
There a football match.
I've NEVER Experienced this on any Adults only site before.

sunrise, sunset, tranquility, friendly new toilets and showers, wildlife, forest, dog friendly, friendly efficient check in, cost, cafe across road I. Anglo Saxon village with lakes and walks.

Groups of young men chatting etc into the early hours but I am an early riser so I’m sure that was inconvenient to them !

We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and followed the reception instructions. We were able to choose our pitch from the available spaces and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space available, so much more than some sites we have used. There are plenty of drinking water taps around the site and the electric points are easily accessible. There is excellent signage all over the site. The toilets and showers are wonderfully clean, extra showers were opened for the busier weekend days. The site is very peaceful, the absence of children being really noticeable. The site is near a superb forest with plenty of short and long walks available. Across the road is West Stow Country Park, again this is great for short walks. There is also a really good cafe next to the Saxon recreation/living archeology museum. If we are visiting Suffolk again, we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved everything about this site, the location, the scenery, it has amazing woodlands with deers next door, opposite lovely walks along a lake. The camp site is exceptionally clean, the cleanest one by far I have ever been too. Pitches are evenly spread apart, always someone on hand if needed. The owners are very welcoming and other guests where a pleasure to talk too. It was also very good value for the two nights we booked.

I wish I had booked longer to stay and didn't have to return to work.
