Very nice welcome and introduction on arrival. Went down to the beach which was amazing. People here all lovely showers and toilets good.

The site was lovely, the woodland setting was so relaxing and just what we were looking for. The facilities were fantastic and well maintained.

Lovely quiet and peaceful site. Showers and toilet block spotless. Owner Rob greeted us on arrival and was so helpful allowing us to stay on our pitch when we had a problem with our van. Ideal stop over on our way to the NC500.

We arrived to an unmanned campsites which seemed to be predominantly for Caravans/Motor Homes, with hardstandings for them with power and water facilities. The tent area was described as at the bottom. Not immediately obvious but we found it. This small grassed area had a communal campfire. Albeit you had to purchase wood direct from the site. (no one there). The facilities were checked and appeared to be clean and well looked after.

This is an unmanned site. Although there are mobile numbers for contact. The tent area was next to the sewage treatment plant. This was hidden with overgrown grass and weeds and was inundated with flies. Not midges or mosquitos, flys and bluebottles. after trying to find an area without this problem, to no avail, we left without pitching our tent, There was only one other tent and this was sited as far away from the fly source as possible choosing to be next to the road and site entrance rather than tolerate the problem.The camping area looked a little sorry for itself, as it needs a good tidy up with the communal fire pit overgrown and in need of attention. The areas specifically for RV's were in good condition, however, and enjoyed better positions. Not an inviting place for a tent camper. Shame, we booked and payed for 3 nights and didn't stay for one.

Sanitäranlagen zwar gut, aber leider zu wenig.

Freundlicher Empfang. Gut zu buchen im Internet. Ruhiger Platz. Die Pitches sind groß genug. Neue und sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Dadurch, daß es nur 12 pitches gibt, sehr ruhig und sauber. Alles gut strukturiert.
