Loved the location, beautiful scenery . Especially at sunset!
Pub had a lovely selection of beers and good decore.

The pub only served guests booked in for food, didn't have any notices up saying that was what was happening, turned more people away for food than had dining in the establishment from what we could see and other chatter around the area.

Spacious site and friendly hosts. Lovely welcome on arrival. Clean facilities and my two kids loved the park. Great base for hiking and a short drive to wastwater lake and the seascale coast. The shop in reception has everything you need.
Would definitely visit again.

You could only get wifi at reception which isn't a major issue, as we only needed it to get oasis tickets at the time! 😂

The facilities were fantastic everything you could have needed while camping.
Shower and toilet unit was lovely and clean, nice hot water.
Staff was very helpful and lovely couldn't fault them.

The views and location of the site. You can walk from there without needing to get back into the van. Also the shop and cafe up the road were very handy.

The staff at the site were friendly and helpful and the facilities were thoroughly cleaned every day.

There were too many people squished into the site. It would have been nicer to have a bit more space. Also please ban gazebos! There were so many of them and in the high winds they all broke. Hate seeing so much single use crap having to be chucked in the bin.

Very friendly welcome on arrival, lovely location. Good base for hiking in the local area. Good facilities, toilets, showers etc. Perfect really 😊

The site were amazing at placing us and accommodating the needs of my wife, who had mobility issues.

The shop is just simply perfect, not a supermarket but has everything you need (and likely forgot to take).

I like the way the campsite was divided into separate fields, so it always felt smaller than it was.

Beautiful views, woodland, and an area where kids could play football.

Could choose where to pitch within parameters.

Access to laundry facilities and drying room.

Up to date weather reports posted up on reception window.

Unfortunately in a corner of the field it flooded.

Top tip : always choose high ground to camp in!

Only one toilet/shower block. We were some distance away, being in one of the furthest fields. Having said that, I never experienced a queue!

No phone signal/WiFi except at reception. (Not sure if this is a pro or a con, but it did make planning activities that bit harder)

Location - Wastwater is beautiful!

Beautiful and spacious campsite with clean facilities and a wonderful variety of facilities. Lots of people so it is well used and well liked. Gorgeous and stunning scenery. Loved it.
