We were pitched up next to the park which was great for us with the kids 😊 They had a pop up pizza van on the Wednesday which was lovely and reasonably priced. Não gostou: Only thing that may have made stay easier with kids is to have a couple of porta loos closer, just to make the midnight “I need a wee” trips a little easier. Also our last night an inconsiderate family pitched next to us talking very loud into the early hours, so maybe just a check round the site at 11pm to remind people to keep the noise down.

Unfortunately we aren't allowed to have any porta loo in the main camping field, due to our planning permission being very strict.
Also we do walk round when we lock up at 9pm, but given we start at 6am everyday, a walk round at 11pm, just wouldn't be possible, as we are sleeping. We do have our bedroom window open and we are always available on the phone, so you could of called us and we would of come over and spoken to them. But i'm sure as you can appreciate, we work very hard and very long hours with no days off during the summer.

There is a big sign which does have an arrow pointing to the reception and says please go this way for reception. our shop is a small honesty shop and we only have the very basics UHT milk, butter, sugar, tea, coffee, toothbrush ect. if you need anything else there is our local spar which is a 3 min or 20 min walk away.
We arent suited to everyone, as we are a very small, country site, which believes in peace, nature and enjoying the still of the surroundings.
