Clean well run site. Handy little shop with basics. Pleny of things in the games room for the kids. Fridge freezer and washing up area with plenty of hot water. Two set of shower blocks, cubicles are toilet and shower combined, very spacious the newest white one is very good is brilliant with powerful shower , without the annoying push-button ( the old one does). All are very clean. However surprisingly no hand drier or paper towels, but a single hand towel, not very hygienic!

A bit of a marmite one, camp fires. I appreciate that many people like them, But I don’t, especially being surrounded by them. The site is very remote, everything is a trek away beaches , pub or shop etc.

The friendliness of the campsite, the cleanliness and the dog 'playground', including toys. We will definitely stay there again.

Such a warm welcome when we arrived. We loved how family friendly this campsite is (dogs included!) we camped (2 adults and toddler) and our friends brought there campervan (plus dog) we was located in the same field which was brilliant (a lot of sites keeps campervans and tents separate) all the pitches are very generous in size and from all the pitches in this field you could see the play park added bonus! . Makes entertainment when setting up and packing up so much easier! There was also a dog park.

The site was beautiful, peaceful l with the added extra of the lakes to fish and the games room is a well appreciated added bonus to this site.
The pop up food vans are brilliant touch too. The fish and chip van was there Saturday lunch and Fish and chips after setting up the tent was really appreciated and brilliant quality two lovely ladies running it.

It was so peaceful we didn’t leave site and just enjoy a quiet weekend!

Only one downside we found, and it is a minor issue there was no just toilet blocks. They all were toliets with showers so in the morning you was queueing 20 minutes to go toliet as everyone was as showering. Which is okay as an adult not ideal with a toddler

The site is cleaned and well maintained, we tried the fishing lake which was good as I had never done it before. There is a small park onsite for the younger children to enjoy.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
They also have outside food trucks that come in which are good also.
I would only say that of you want to see other places you do have to travel out and the travelling can be tiring.

Nice site with good amenities, the kids loved the park. We only stayed one night as a stop over. Ideal if you want to fish with the lakes etc.

Everything was great!
The owners were on hand from the moment we arrived until we left. Our Bell tent was immaculate and had everything you could want, even electricity which was a great surprise, Hot water bottles were a lovely treat for the chilly nights. 😀
Campsite was small so not overcrowded, shower rooms were great (shower, toilet and basin in each).
Fishing lakes were well stocked which got my daughter hooked!

Beds were a little firm but that's a personal thing.

Very wide pitches, quiet atmosphere, all clean.

Excellent facilities, very welcoming. The shop is very well thought through and works well. The children loved the games room, and we felt there were lots of thoughtful touches such as fridge freezer. Plus the microwave came in handy one evening....pizza van is very yummy.l! Would recommend that and book early with them. Very peaceful clean site with lovely toilets and showers, the best we've been in! The quite site was quite and not loud at night, most of campers observed this. If not it, was reinforced by the owners. We will definitely be going back.

The poor communication from pitchup agent site, who took our money and then cancelled our reservation without notification, then still took the reminder of payment when it was due. To us it all appeared to be normal until We arrived at the site to find booking cancelled! Thankfully the site were able to accommodate us. But I won't use pitch up again. And will book direct with the campsite in future.

Super friendly staff, small intimate site.
Site shop was reasonably priced considering there wasn't much choice in the area.
Communal areas were always clean.
Use of fridge kettle and microwave
Games room and play area were great for the kids
We didn't have a dog with us, but all the other dogs on the site were loving their play field!

When the site got busy, over the weekend, there were some inconsiderate campers regarding noise, but this isn't the camp sites fault.
