We travelled as a group of friends with kids. The camp site is very large, plenty of spaces and situated in a good location with easy access and very close to beautiful beaches. They allow us to pitch anywhere we wanted (non-electric) and no rush at all on the checkout day. They lend us fire pit, no restrictions having fun as a family. Kids enjoyed playing air-hockey in the school bus. The bar kiosk with breakfast is a nice addition and many enjoyed having a pint.

The site is a very large place and it needs more maintaining (drainage, and lawn mowing). We had some rain and the ground becomes very muddy easily. We have seen some people had to use wellies to go to toilets. Pitches are not very level. Toilet facilities are good but not cleaned regularly. They told us they clean it twice a day which is not enough for the size of the site and people stayed I think. Only one sink to wash your dishes and that's not cleaned either. No fridge / freezer, so some of our food went bad.

If they can put a little bit of more effort and time to take care of the place, this will be one of the better places around.

Very clean sight, toilets and showers are really well maintained. Lovely big old bus for children to play on, bar area, good all brill ...
One gripe need a hairdryer in the toilets opposite mirrors to accommodate.
Place over the road does amazing pizza's!!!

It’s seems ok for families that have kiddies that stay up all night

We arrived and had to find someone to tell us where to pitch. We were not shown around. Very loud dance music continued until at least 1am. There was a smell of the septic tank.
We feel very misled as we would never booked to stay at this site but when you search Porth Iago it comes up with this site. This site is not even within walking distance to the beach and actually we moved the day after to Porth Iago which was half the price! Not sure this site even noticed us leave

Play bus and bar were amazing. Had rock painting for children which our daughter loved. Curry was the best I’ve ever tasted. Nice showers and toilets. Lovely, helpful staff

Pitches very close together although non-electric pitches had loads of room so we would opt for those if we chose again. Lots of children and families that all knew each other so if you want a peaceful stay probably look elsewhere

Absolutely LOVED it here. The owners are friendly and helpful, the campsite is clean with lots of space for kids to play safely, the food is amazing and reasonably priced and there are lots of lovely surrounding places to visit. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for having us and allowing us to change our dates due to bad weather.
