Gorgeous setting, good facilities with the added bonus of a wood-fired Pizza trailer being there on the Saturday evening. Excellent WiFi.

We stayed in Eilio caravan, just me and my 2 young children. We arrived to very friendly and warm staff and the caravan was immaculate. We’re used to staying away in our campervan so this was luxury for us. Very warm and spacious with 2 bathrooms! Fantastic location for exploring, 30 minutes to most places like Anglesey and Snowdon. The kids loved the games room, it was £1 to play pool or on the football table. They even had snack machines for a £1. A tv in there and it was lovely and warm. There’s 2 playgrounds on site one for smaller children and one for bigger ones. Again my kids loved these. There’s a lovely river (maybe a stream but we did visit in January when there was a storm so maybe flooded) running behind the campsite. There’s a rope swing tied to one of the trees so I’m assuming the water level isn’t normally as high. There’s a bridge over the river and a nice walk on a public footpath. It’s a big site and we were very fortunate it was very peaceful because of the time of year visiting. We would definitely visit again. Shame we didn’t get chance to check out the shower facilities and toilets as I’d be tempted to visit in the campervan next time. All of the pitches were nice and flat and a lot of maintenance work was taking place on the gravel pitches.

Only small thing was dirty pans on arrival and I had to scrub them. Not the campsites fault at all shame people can’t clean up after themselves. The WiFi you had to put the password in every morning. Only minor irritation and again doesn’t reflect how amazing this campsite is.

Peaceful site in a great location. Easy access to the site and great space for pitching up with ease. Toilets and shower were very clean and warm. Showers are on constant run so we were able to shower quick and stay warm there is also loads of space and hooks to keep clothes dry and get changed. All the people we saw on site were very friendly. A lovely atmosphere.

We unfortunately had terrible weather and felt our pitch was very exposed to the high winds. Other areas looked like they were more sheltered from the gusts of wind.

Really well equipped, well thought out, all the amenities easy to hand from a motorhome, no mud to traverse, spacious, fantastic views, close to some of the most spectacular bits of Eryri, like the Nantlle Valley, not to mention Snowdon itself. Also really friendly welcome despite it being a chilly December night.

Gorgeous spot nestled amid mountains. Clean, spacious toilet/shower block. Excellent WIFI with pitch. Close to Caernarfon. Friendly staff. Liked games room also. Nice play area for younger children.

Would’ve appreciated a few more ‘streetlights’ to illuminate the park after dark to navigate to toilets etc.
Water in showers & hand basins not hot. Toilet/shower block very cold (it was November though!) & windows in there too high to close. It says ‘heated’ shower/toilet block but could only find one fan type heater attached high up. Block was immaculately clean though 👍

The scenery

The fact that we were put at the very top field on a field, field 6. The ground was hurrendous. The bathrooms werent great either and we had to walk to filed 2 for bathrooms that were free as they were cleaning them quite early in the morning.

Lovely location, very clean caravan, site it self very tidy, staff very helpful and approachable.

Weather didn't spare us but we were expecting it as visiting at end of October

Friendly staff, good standard of static caravan. Great location.
